I can't get over how badly those insanely expensive buildings are constructed. There's shrubbery left, but the houses like they were made from cardboard dipped in kerosene. NOTHING is left. You would think a 5 million dollar house would at least have fireproof walls, but no. It's all just plaster with pretty wallpaper. No stone, no iron, no safe materials. They're not poorly constructed, the pure incineration to a white ash is not the result of a natural phenomenon at all. These houses were torched at scorching high temperatures that melted glass, rubber, and steel, an impossibility from a natural brush fire. Something far more evil hit palisades that fateful night. What exactly I'm sure we'll never find out, but something very ominous is happening with all these so called "wildfires"

In Florida most of our new houses are cement or brick, with a mix of steel too. Only wood parts are the interior walls and the roof.

I may be completely wrong and a keyboard warrior, but it seems that the type of material used on roofs should be banned from the area. Slates (stone) would have protected some of the houses and dissipated far less heat to the neighbouring houses. This is tragic.

You can see at 0:40 that the houses have clay terracotta roof tiles, popular in California. They are burn proof. But it doesn't help if the rest of the house catches on fire. theyre probably sitting in the ashes unburned.

HERE'S THE TRUTH: If CalFire and the Forest Service really wanted to minimize the destruction from wildfires they could do 10x more with 1/10th the money if they prioritized preventitive mitigation and removing invasive species. My crew drove over 1000 miles to help fight these fires (I can't disclose from where). The reality is THE SCOPE OF THESE FIRES ARE GREATLY EXAGGERATED TO MAINTAIN THE BUDGET. On California fires maybe 10-20% of the firefighters brought in are even allowed to do anything. We're paid to be around in case this situation escalates. It rarely does. THEY ARE THROWING AWAY YOUR TAX DOLLARS IN ORDER TO CONTINUE RECIEVING MORE MONEY EVERY YEAR. My heart sinks when I'm ordered to California and see so much damage and suffering that could be almost entirely avoided if these corrupt politicians wouldn't allow it. CALIFORNIANS THIS IS A FIGHT FOR YOUR VERY LIVES. DO NOT RUN. REMOVE THESE POLITICIANS. SEEK THE TRUTH FROM THESE ORGANIZATIONS THAT CLAIM TO REPRESENT YOUR BEST INTEREST. I got a suspension bridge in Sahara to sell ya. Will we finally introduce legislation to bury these wretched power cables in fire prone areas? Hold that thought. Will the state government step in and provide universal insurance coverage at an affordable rate for all to usurp the parasitical insurance companies? Sure, sure.
