Adanas posted on twitter that they are planning something on Ruckus. One example is the Rocket Barrage will be put into the base kit and the talent will be changed to increase splash radius on the Rocket but the cooldown will be change from 8 secs to 10 secs.

It isnt even real powercreep. Raum isnt that good He Just has a Strange Champion concept we havent Seen yet in paladins which is connected to high Numbers. It Just Looks strong. He is very weak against burst, true damage, CC and Caut cauz eventhough His soularmour isnt cauterizable (which is a lie only the Skulls arent) He has No good way to get Out of caut. Every Tank can Just shield for a few secs to let it wear off but Raum cant. He might Not be Bad but He is by far Not OP. Real Powercreep is an example in Pkm. The Most very old legendaries rarely have stats around 600 but nowadays mega Forms excist, legendaries have Higher Base stats in generell and some of them even have a Special mega Form. The difference between the strongest and the weakest Pkm is too big and Paladins doesnt really have that.

I think of raum as a ruckus and ash hybrid. He does solid dmg and good mobility, but he is less bursty and has a slower dash(but easier to use because u cant get body blocked).

I dont think Inara has anything to worry about, her role and Raum's are different. The same goes for Ruckus, he's like a big damage dealer, while Raum is more like Ash - a brawler. Furthermore, Adanas just tweeted about a potential Ruckus buff. With how pros are reacting, I dont think it will go through tho, maybe a weaker version.

my big problems with cursed revolver are: i don't like that reversal might not do anything if they don't shoot it, and it noticeable lowers your the guns dps for slightly stronger hits

Defiant Fist talent ought to let you gain more dmg for your punch if you land a headshot. That way you can gain that burst faster. Its pretty fun but not competitive.

Worse than a Vivian that can relentlessly hitscan you while having a shield that can double as actual health? Sorry, i dont think its as bad as you think. I just like the idea of rewarding a player for landing a headshot, and not spamming 10 shots for max punch dmg. Hell, maybe lower the totally dmg of the punch if you're scared of more burst. Or, Buy Blast shield????

I don’t think power creep is as bad in this game as some others, Cassie is how old a champ and look how good she still is? The past few champs with Atlas and Io haven’t been hilariously stupid OP, and at least have fun movements imo, you look at ones like Vivian and it’s just like, what were they even thinking when designing this champ? Worst thing about Paladins though is just how characters that do actually get overshadowed tend to stay that way, Sha Lin is a favorite of mine to play and it feels like they don’t even know he’s in the game anymore

I'll be honest here chief..tanks are rough due to badly designed abilities like poison bolts and fire bomb..and the devs dont seem to like or care about ruckus so if raum ends up being his replacement , so be it..raum is far more interesting and wont be made useless by 300 credits..we need more champs like this..imani, atlas, io..these last 4 have been awesome and strong, and fun..without being brain dead..a considerable upgrade from viv, lian, victor, etc
