About Zhang Xincheng, seeing his bizarre way of answering some interview questions I thought, this kid is smart, he must have done well at school so knowing he was actually a top student I wasn't surprised much. He's that versatile young actor who makes me wanna see him in everything, I already have a long list of roles I want him to play and hopefully he does that before going to Broadway cause I can totally see him achieving that dream.

Hahaha I died when you used that screenshot from Who’s the Murderer? for 白白 XD The only person that knows how to play the piano and plays it very well and what we actually got from his performance. He’s so funny I love him. We must talk about his rap dream though! It’s been a hilarious rap journey for him. Now he’s finally released his own single and it has a rap portion! Thanks that Yang Yang became an actor.. maybe he wouldn't be as famous as now though he's the best dancer of his times.. Everything happens for a reason!!😊 Though he left dancing reluctantly, he is now a very popular actor, he may not be the best actor out there but he's been improving soo well and giving some quality work to the audience. Good luck to you YY👍👍. And Bai jingting is really good, his performance in 'rush to the dead summer' was soo good that I really cried but didn't like his performance much in whirlwind girl. And like Wang Peng too.. he's really cute and love her performance.. hope she gets more recognised.

After following this channel for many years, I already know some of these actors background, like allen ren was a table tennis player.. zhang xing cheng, yang yang luo yunxi have dancing background etc. Thanks for providing more in depth info. Probably I wont remember the particular schools the actors are associated with, but I will remember the actors while watching dramas "oh, this person has special talent besides acting"

Just want to add Baijingting didn't actually start with singing and performing. He started to act with the dram Cong Cong Na Nian, even before he graduated from uni. That's what really led him into this career, he never really worked as a singer. He only really a free song for his fans like last year. lol.

I find it so interesting that a lot of cdrama actors I've come across have classical dance backgrounds and some actually were professional dancers before getting into acting! It seems to be something that's a bit unique to the c-ent industry, no? Ahhh and Zhang Xincheng's entrance exams feats are always a bit unbelievable whenever I see it listed out. He's such an unassuming but enormously talented guy. (Btw, it's just a minor error but the bit about him being #1 in Zhongxi's entrance exams for both musical and acting majors isn't right - he never tested for their acting major.)

Haha! You were so excited all along. As if you drank Coke or Pepsi before filming. Bai Jingting, I watched my first Chinese tv show in 2016 but I watched older programmes as well. I started but never finished Whirlwind Girl which came out in 2011. So I have the weird experience of watching Bai Jingting from 18 becoming 28. It is super weird.

Yes! Liu Haoran took his middle school in the middle school of Bei Wu. So it is like a middle school affiliated with the BeiWu Beijing Dance Academy, so Liu Haoran should receive basic training in dance there!

Steven Zhang does not have the "dashing" look or body type, but he can grab your interest with his talent. I don't know Huang Xuan's dancing background, I always consider him a solid actor. I am surprised by Sha Yi's dancing background too, you would think he has training in 德云社， or majoring in broadcasting etc. I know of Cecilia Liu's ballet background, she always has great postures in fighting scenes, sometimes even a bit too rigid for the rest of us commoners to appreciate. I start to pay interest in Bai Jingting from last year's drama You are my hero with Sandra Ma (I watched it for her, but love them both afterwards). He is a very good actor, I am looking forward to more memorable performances from him.

It's interesting how opinions can differ, for me it's his looks that instantly grabbed my attention when I first saw him. Maybe he's more appealing to the eyes of other races. Seeing his features I was actually quite surprised to know he is purely Chinese.

Athlete wise definitely RJL comes to my mind first. I knew XK and HYT were models before they were actors but I'm surprised that GJ was also one. I never went to search about BJT's career since I never felt that his other dramas other than YAMH were ones that kept me watching but I'm definitely happy to see Reset being a good one to his list. The only few female actors that I remember are definitely Wan Peng, Cheng Xiao and most Huanyu female actors (thanks to XK). I do hope WP becomes more popular because her potential is really there, I do hope for more edgy/badass characters for her. Cheng Xiao is recently on my radar since she is acting in an ice skating drama and I really hope that the drama and her can mesh well because she has a lot of potential to make it seem more professional given her background.

Victoria Song is very flexible which I knew when she was a kpop idol. But Her agency SM wasted her talent totally. I knew Steven Zhang xincheng is multitalented but I did not know that he can sing and dance so well and he got number 1 in all the 3 prominent acting academy /school. Impressively talented young actor!!!

Steven Zhang is really study overlord LOL. His national entrance exam score is also one of the highest for art students (people in the industry) and also enrolled to Broadcasting university and placed #16 nationally and that explain how he is very good with his line delivery and clear dictions
