I am glad you dropped Guardians of the Dafeng. Thus you spared us of another malicious rant about Dylan Wang. This drama has just broke 30000 heat index on Tencent. The only male centric drama which has succeeded in passing that mark was Joy of Life. I am having a great time watching it, not a dull moment! It is trully unique and one of a kind!

I admit I watch the ads as you walk around to see who I can identify from Chinese dramaland, so this posting was fun. Wang Xing's girlfriend has very impressive skills to bring him back that fast. His interview in Thailand indicated just how hard the experience was even after a few days.

拜见AvenueX! Thanks for the post. Nice aquarium, good fish voice 😂 You mentioned a character working as a hotel janitor. That reminded of a Korean drama from 2001 called Hotelier. Really enjoyed that one. If you haven’t seen it, definitely worth a look. It’s set in Korea and Las Vegas so you can the strip from the 1990s and they use those old cell phones. I have that one on video CD but unfortunately I no longer have a CD player 😅 一路平安！👋

I am not a Dylan Wang fan, but I must say Guardians of the Dafeng is SURPRISINGLY good on the humor front. It is hilarious, I haven't had so much fun watching a drama in a minute. It is not without issues, around its narrative coherence, the character of the FL who is badly written even if the actress is quite good, and the pace at times. But it is funny, original (not the same recycled stories) and enjoyable to watch. I do think the score is too low.

Yes, Flourished Peony is not only pretty but is also telling oppressed women to show some spunk and cease being down-trodden. 2nd male lead seems hotter! And Mystique... I liked Bailu with other male leads like Zhang Linghe but not with Ao Ruipeng. Her voice is irritatingly raised up in a scolding tone... a year younger than her, Ao looks her kid brother... no sexual chemistry there..she just reminds me of an older sister scolding an annoying kid bro😂 Sorry, this drama does not work for me. I am now looking forward to the Moonlight case solving treat on the 14th!

Tbh, that zhonghanliang's drama plotline sounds like a 2012 Jdrama, but in that drama the ML is quite a lot younger than the FL

I think the score for Guardians of Dafeng is too low. I’m 17 eps in and it’s so addictive and fun. Dylan Wang is actually great in this role. Loving the show so far, and it’s great if you just want a lighthearted show.

I always agree with your opinion and taste. Literally, for all these years I've been watching Avenuex and agreed with her every, single word. It is the first time I disagree and It is about " Guardians of the Dafeng". In my opinion ratings are way too low. I love this drama, although I understand those who hate it. I just think that the final score is unfair.

I am loving both drama flourished peony and moonlight mystique. Loving flourished peony feels like one of best business period drama that has me hooked otherwise I get bored from most business included once but this is damn good. And moonlight mystique I have been waiting for this after watching ALP and Last immortal . And these drama is an first drama I am watching of aoruipeng I am loving his acting I am gonna check out his other dramas after this the action scenes are greatly executed in this drama I know many people are going to say it’s a cliche drama 😂 what do u expect it’s a fantasy and mostly this type of drama also helps in increasing international audiences

Anyone watching The blossoming love? I find it quite entertaining, even though the story is predictable if you've seen enough dramas. But I loved the actress Sun Zhen Ni in her role from Till the end of the moon as Pian Ran and this drama seems like the story she never got to live, except with Zhang Bin Bin as her ML.

Bailu is my one and only, I watch Bailu's dramas only regardless whoever the male lead is.

I didn’t have any hope for Moonlight mystique, same storyline with different actor and actress rather I was excited for Flourished Peony.So far it is quite good in every department from storyline to acting , production design to costumes. Yang zi looks really gorgeous

Agree with Flourished Peony and Moonlight Mystique.. I had big expectations with MM and no expectation or better no idea for FL.. but MM was after 3 episodes totally disappointing for me.. the world building and both leads didn’t work for me.. agree with the coloring and the costumes.. and also I noticed that I get more and more bored with Bai Lu‘s same acting.. she seems to play the same character over and over again.. the story wasn’t for me as well. But most people are excited about this drama.. FL surprisingly started very well. I was instantly immersed to the story and Yang Zi‘s acting ist top notch here.. ML is also very good chosen. I am at ep 9 and enjoying it so far..

I feel it's stupid of these platforms to have special ceremonies and promote their heavy budget dramas too early. The higher the budget and expectations, higher the chance for it to get flopped. The black fans and marketing also contribute a lot for such dramas to flop coz there are many rivals

You need to see Moonlight Mystique. I just want to know what you will say about it😂😂. I know it's not perfect but I quite enjoy it so far. I also really enjoy Flourished Peony. The lighting, cinematography, and more..very enchanting❤

Moonlight mystique is obsessed with purple, blue and green😅 but the plot is good so far and there is not heavy filters and skin smoothening, so easy to watch. Peony is a proper drama with every department doing their job perfectly. I specially like the clothes. Three leads' acting are very good. Both dramas are goo in their own genres
