thanks for all the tips, while i have watched numerous videos about traveling to Kyrgyzstan at this point, none spoke about weather, internet, cash and the absolute need for a driver though i suspected as much. please let me know if you plan to do another group trip in the fall or next spring in 2025. again thanks for posting!

They say that under the USSR in Kyrgyzstan, there was a school in Bishkek where they taught Hindi as a foreign language. I don't know the exact school number. They say that the Hindi lesson began with the words “Hindi and Rus' bhai bhai.” Perhaps this school is still teaching Hindi to schoolchildren.

Thanks a lot. I didn’t rent any car during my stay. If you’ve seen my entire video I go on to say that it’s not advisable to do, especially in such adverse weather. Also you loose signals in the mountains and remote areas while no one speaks a word of English outside Bishkek. I’ve my connections in central Asian countries as I organize group tours and customized packages for tourists.

Yes but you need LOI and you need to apply for evisa. The uae residency VOA doesn’t apply to you.

Central Asia does not have the driver taxi system there. Those drivers don’t speak a word of English. You need an English speaking guide/driver. But for a solo travelers it is going to cost quite a bit. Be prepared for that. For example, it could cost you $1200-1400 for a week depending on your choice of accommodations.

Weather is pleasant in April. Still you’ll find the mountains cold. Depends where you’re going. Carry cash. Don’t count on your cards.
