When I told friends and family that I was visiting Kyrgyzstan, the first question that popped up was Is Kyrgyzstan Safe? I have no idea what is with that question.
Anyway, you need to watch this before visiting Kyrgyzstan. This was my first visit to Kyrgyzstan and I definitely plan to go many more times because there is so much to explore and experience in this vast country.
Regarding the visas for GCC residents, after filming this video, I found an article on GulfNews sharing how we can obtain an E-visa. However, I have had no experience with this. So in case the following article works for you, please leave me a comment in the comments section below.

thanks for all the tips, while i have watched numerous videos about traveling to Kyrgyzstan at this point, none spoke about weather, internet, cash and the absolute need for a driver though i suspected as much. please let me know if you plan to do another group trip in the fall or next spring in 2025. again thanks for posting!

Thanks a lot. I didn’t rent any car during my stay. If you’ve seen my entire video I go on to say that it’s not advisable to do, especially in such adverse weather. Also you loose signals in the mountains and remote areas while no one speaks a word of English outside Bishkek. I’ve my connections in central Asian countries as I organize group tours and customized packages for tourists.

Weather is pleasant in April. Still you’ll find the mountains cold. Depends where you’re going. Carry cash. Don’t count on your cards.

If you enjoying skiing then head to jyrgylan but it’s quite far from Bishkek. Horse riding in cholpon-ata. Canyons in bokonbaeyvo. Hiking in Ala Archa national park.

If you’re a UAE resident you don’t need a LOI

Yes but you need LOI and you need to apply for evisa. The uae residency VOA doesn’t apply to you.

Where are you based? And perhaps you applied for transit visa hence LOI was not required. But I generally go for a week or 10 days.

They say that under the USSR in Kyrgyzstan, there was a school in Bishkek where they taught Hindi as a foreign language. I don't know the exact school number. They say that the Hindi lesson began with the words “Hindi and Rus' bhai bhai.” Perhaps this school is still teaching Hindi to schoolchildren.
