The Texas State Aquarium you showed is in Corpus Christi. I was there in 1994 or 95, the same year Selena was unlived. Verify one is in Galveston. Be safe.

Welcome to Houston guys!!! There’s tons to see and do. Loads of restaurants as well. I’m in Cypress suburbs of Houston Here’s a small list of areas: each area has a sort of board walk Cinco Ranch City Center The Boardwalk The Woodlands The Village The Vintage Sugar land Each one of these have shops and restaurants The London Eye is MUCH BIGGER!!!

You are much braver than I am , the closest I have ever gotten to that part of the Aquarium is on the freeway, lol! As a resident of Houston that is one thing I will not, WILL NOT ever get on, after riding that one in Kemah, Texas. I am so sorry that you all went on a day which right now is basically everyday, there are tons of children at the Aquarium, not my speed. It is one of our better attractions .Hope your stay in and the surroundings of Houston was fun, and you all will keep our city in mind to visit again. Safe travels to your next place.

It was great seeing you have come into Houston enjoying the city. You need to visit Kemah, TX. It's only a few minutes from Houston. Parking down town, Houston can be very disappointing.

Hey Pegi and Don. I live in Houston also. My husband and I went to the aquarium for one of our anniversary. This was years ago.We had a seafood dinner and they had a white tiger show. Then we got on this train and it went through this kind of dark cave and something jumped out at us and startled us. Well at the end of the ride they said there are pictures . We said pictures well when they took the pictures when this something jumped out at us. The look on our faces was so hilarious every time I looked at that picture I burst out laughing . They didn't look good at all. I never put it in the living room. Don if you want to ride a ride that will pump your adrenaline up. Go to Galveston Pleasure Pier. Galveston is only about 45 to an hour depending where you live in Houston. That thing is so high it's no way I would ever get on. Pegi this is one for Don . I saw him in Las Vegas he is fearless. That ride was hanging off the side of the building. Love you guys.
