When people say this it doesn’t mean to treat HIM like you are his wife. It means to carry yourself like a woman of quality before you even get a ring. A ring doesn’t magically give you morals. Doesn’t work like that and I feel like that’s one of the issues with present day marriages and one of the reasons for failure. Being single should not be your excuse to be on “hoe time.” There should never be such a time. Because no one wants a person that has slept around with the whole city then coming to someone talking about they ready to settle down and want to be taken seriously. It’s unattractive and you lose value. That goes for men and women. Some things are meant for marriage and marriage only.
