Interesting. the inbox layout of the newer GX-88 in terms of the placement of the individual pieces, actually is closer to the old Matchbox version

Hi...thanks for subscribing. Yes I did preorder the SOC GX-88 Dairugger. Just hope that they have enough stock here in Malaysia. I will keep in mind to do a Matchbox Dairugger sometime in the future.

In terms of value could you tell us something? Are they share same price or is any difference!

The Matchbox boxed and complete version was sold for USD305 in eBay recently. The Bandai/Popy boxed and complete version was sold for JPY80000 (approx USD722) in Mandarake. The Bandai/Popy version is harder to come by.

Great video - thanks for making it! I’m confused if the Popy is the GB72 DX? If you google the GB72 it looks like a much smaller box and figure. It also looks more plastic than this, but I can’t be sure. Also there’s a three box set, do you know if that is the same as your Popy version just in different configuration? The configuration like yours is much more expensive but I’m trying to establish if the actual toy is different or just the packaging. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Hi ..the above is the DX Dairugger15-in-1 version. I think it is bigger than the GB72 you mention. I do not own a GB72 for comparison but based on photos, it looks smaller. So its a different toy.

@@loketoykaki2978 Thanks! I finally found some information online and yes that's correct, there was the GB73 (ST), GB72 (DX) and then this one, which as far as I can see does not have a model number. Thanks again for the insightful video :)
