You can buy Red Sea filter cups and put pollyfill in it it is way easier to clean than filter socks it takes less than a minute also if you have nylon media bags put carbon in it put it in the bottom of the cup and your pollyfill on top my then goes over a 8 inch acrylic wall which then is filtered by 2 35 ppi sponges and 2 50 ppi sponges into 2 return pumps with heater and there is room for protein skimmer if I want to go to a reef tank in future

Buen día, pregunta: El calentador puede estar en contacto con esponjas, cristal o material filtrante? No pasa nada? Gracias

I'm considering turning my 150 gallon (which currently has two canister filters on it) into a sump system. Any videos on making this sort of conversion? I'm reluctant to drain and attempt to drill the tank with bulk heads.

You can go with an overflow box and not have to drill the tank. Something like this: amzn.to/48dWbit
