Great stuff, Thank you I about 6 years younger than you are and I started my business 2 years ago. I doing well not going to lie. I would recommend to everyone that first you take a course in SEO and basic web development and Marketing for a small business in college , this will help your business a lot. I used to do a lot of SEO and web development, as a freelancer when I was out of highschool, than after a while I decided to become a landscape contractor, I have yet to do any print media, Flyers etc.. All my marketing is done online, I made my website, work on my SEO, paid for yelp and other sites, I am rank #1 in my city, I don't have to go out and hustle to look for work. if I wanted to I could grow my business faster but I will not outgrow my business cash flow which is just plain stupid. I am happy stress free. Good luck guys

I've had Angie's list for two years now, I'm getting more clients from my actual Google Reviews. I'm going back to my old marketing tactics. I figure I'm spending $800 with Angie's list and only getting around $1000 return in jobs. When I do it, I spend $250 an ad and get around $3000 return so I'm going the old route.

Exactly you gotta pay to play. I just raised my adspend on Facebook because of this video. Paid advertising is my favorite. I also just fired 3 virtual assistants and decided to do almost everything myself. Turns out I still have free time when everything is done which means there is no need to hire extra people. Your a beast tho bro

Doing this for ten years but only commercial now. It ensures a paycheck 12 months thru the year. Even in a Texas winter. Thank you for all you do! Don't be afraid about talking about God😀! He is your provider. Kudos to you bro.

One form of advertising I don't see anyone doing is home shows. You may have to sit around for a weekend, but the shows I do have a lot of people coming though. They pay off is awesome, and its the market you want. The customers I get from them I have had for years now. The cost of the home shows Ive done are under $500 bucks. Best return for my money.

We used to have an Ice delivery company around here called Triangle Ice, and their slogan on their trucks was "The difference is clear." Similar to yours but I prefer difference over choice. Triangle Ice was eventually bought out by another company so that slogan is no longer used.

Hey Keith, thanks for these great videos, gold nuggets everywhere. I would like yo have your thoughts about phone calls. One of the things I've been struggling since the first days of my business is taking calls when I am trying to get stuff done, besides that, in our case, someone can get hurt by being distracted with the phone and not having complete focus in the work. As business owners, we have to be constantly on the phone, which I found very stressful. Especially when the client is asking for specific things like appointment time, etc, and you're in your case trying cutting a tree. How to you cope with it, while on the field? Have you tried any receptionist services or virtual assistant to help you with that? Thanks Ray

Could you make a video on how to give a quote to a business owner and one to a homeowner. Like act it out with your wife or employee. Right now for a homeowner I just look at the house and then go inside and say it will be this much and not sure how to be more encouraging about it or how to explain myself if they say no. For a business I bring in a proposal with my letter head and say if this is something your interested in let me know. I feel like both of those are not aggressive enough

Do you videos have been helping me so much in growing my small business. Thank you for telling me about Dan Kennedy. My personal story is very similar to yours. I've read hundreds of books on self development and how millioner's think and I have listened to thousands of hours of self development from 2007 to now 2017. 2007 was it when it although part for me and I realize that I needed more skills and more ways of making money and I could not trust a heating cooling company to take care of me or my future family. That is when the fun started I mean learning failing forward trial-and-error being borated by your family and told that you're a dreamer and that you should just focus on a job. Part of my email adresses eventual millionaire, what is that tell you ? Lol No I'm not there yet but I know in my heart that 1 day it will be sooner than later. I'm not the smartest person the world and I never got straight a's but I worked harder than everyone else and I made sure I passed even if I had to spend all my time in the tutoring lounge or hanging out with teachers getting help with my homework I got it done. One of my tutors was an 80 year old man who at 1 point was in the hospital and still said I come and see him to get help with my middle school math homework and my dad drove me to the hospital in the middle of a snowstorm so that I could get my homework done lol. That's the kind of work ethic I have. Anyway there is much more to the story and maybe at some point I'll share that with you but the tenures of suffering and learning and failing forward and trial-and-error and being called a dreamer has finally led to me learning the business of carpet cleaning junk removal power washing window cleaning gutter cleaning Dryer vent cleaning the moving industry Chimney cleaning How to buy and flip cars . I've learned all those skills and have compacted them into a cleaning business. I'm hours away from going live with homeadvisor.com I'm just finishing my profile for years I made money on craigslist but craigslist isn't dependable. I also have a windshield repair business that I started last weekend. I used to work for a large glass company after I got out of heating cooling And that's where I got the idea to start my own glass repair business . I made $1,700 3 days across 14 hours of work repairing people's glass With a little pop up stand in the Costco parking lot lol I guess I still do work at Costco in a sense but now I make over $100 an hour. Im also expanding my junk hauling business and I am going to be buying large trailers to rent out for customers to fill on their own with junk and then I take it to the landfill. I have a vision board and I plan on getting my agricultural and fertilizer license in my dream is to have a 1000 clients at some point using all my new marketing strategies and things that I've learned from awesome guys like you. You gotta have dreams and goals and visions and I know you do. I prove that you don't have to be a smart guy to be a future millionaire I'm gonna be the richest guy in the dumb row. But from reading the millionaire next door in the millionaire mind I learned that the average millionaire didn't even always graduate from high school or college sometimes they dropped out and they didn't all have straight a's they just had a work ethic that was like nothing anyone's ever seen and a desire and hunger and that is what I have. Well I said I would tell you my story later but I kind of told you part of it now lol you've been a great help to me and I've watched most of your videos because you provide a lot of the same services that I do. Thank you for all the great videos in the inspiration you're doing amazing job. And that crazy voice you to cracks me up. Keep up the good work in keep working hard there are so many opportunities out there it's all about your mindset. Just like that guy who started birds beware window cleaning his story that video was awesome. He started with his letter on his car and hid it around the corner. Wow OK I'm gonna keep watching your videos and learning and growing my business I got lots of work to do thank you for all that you do. Maybe I'll get to talk to you about it someday. Eric

You can get work from these services, but its cluttered with competitors, you usually get small jobs with very little profit. if you are slow you can use them but I would not use them as the primary source of advertising. I used them back when I needed more online presence but I stopped once I got my company running well. USE WISELY OR YOU WILL LOOSE MONEY.
