I do that with my writing! If I’m making a new draft or salvaging a plot from one of my early stories or something, I’ll copy and paste the original into a new doc and edit that one. That way my first try is still intact, dates and all 😁

did you know AURORA did a collab with a game? :DD it's called "sky:children of the light" and it's just so cute and soothing, you fly around in the clouds collecting candles and rescuing spirits! there are events in the game called "seasons" and the current season is "Season of AURORA"!
