I get stuck in the cycle of wanting to draw specific things, not having the skills to draw them, trying to learn the skills through studies and drawing things that I don't want to, and having no motivation because it feels like a chore. Do you have any advice for the issue of motivation?

I didn't really start using TikTok that much until last fall when I finally got a phone that could handle the app (and because I didn't want to read as much news). I'm irritated that out of all the problems our country faces, banning an app is the thing politicians could unite around. 🙄

I had a dream where my Dad and I were picking flowers in the neighbourhood, and we came across a house with beautiful pink ones just outside it's walls. We were going to pick some when I recognised you in the garden. My entire world-view went upside down because I couldn't believe that someone like you, who creates amazing content encouraging the natural creativity in others, could come from somewhere like here in South Africa where things aren't good. The breath was knocked out of me because it seemed so impossible. But I guess amazing people can come from anywhere.
