Sesseme street will never not be the most heartwarming show to sit back and watch, i love how real it feels, and how much they value teaching in a fun and effective way that don’t talk down to you or make you feel like your being tricked.

There's a keychain version of the little free library, where people donate knickknacks to be turned into keychains by the library curator, and then anyone can take them <3

Fun fact : if the sheep accidentally get under the building, the sheep are not crushed, actually the inside is hollow and empty, you just gotta release them or they'll get madd (real)

When I worked at a primary school the art teacher had a gallery of ‘artists trading cards’ pretty similiar to your idea but smaller. If students had time that’s what they would work on and I loved going through taking theirs and putting some silly ones in (usually a batch of 20 made during a long weekend watching a movie). It was one of my favorite parts of the week, checking it out on my way out the door ❤

I'm currently working on Draft Three of a speculative science-fiction novel, with the aim of creating a positive future that can grow from the dystopian present. I think I'm going to weave this into my story - places on the city-ship for art exchanges and knitting circles and open mics. The main character is a historian who runs fortnightly public lectures, and her friend is an entertainer, so there's already room in the world for communal creative arts like this. What a wonderful would it would be, indeed.

I think you can only capture true emotion is if you feel the emotion and put it through your work. So if you’re drawing you’re putting the emotion you feel through the pencil. You are putting the emotion through the letters that spell out messages. You are putting the emotion through the chords of your instrument. And I believe you can learn that, the only thing you would have to be born with is your emotions and how you perceive your emotions.

This is 100% why I know I could never do any kind of artistic project. I always get caught up in how objectively terrible my work is, and I'm stupidly impatient. I've tried a plethora of creative outlets, and I've just concluded I'm not built for any of them. I have a huge amount of respect for artists of all forms, though, since I know they've likely spent thousands of hours just trying to nail the basics.
