I made the mistake of not asking these questions once 😂, and let's just say I learned there's a fine line between an adventurous trip and a survival reality show. After watching your video, I've added few questions to my pre-trip questionnaire: - On a food scale from "I'll try even the weirdest delicacies" to "Is there a global McDonald's app?", where do you land? - On a scale from "I packed two weeks in advance" to "I forgot my passport at home" how prepared are you usually for a trip? - When packing, are you more of a "one backpack and a dream" person or "I brought the entire house, just in case we need a spare sink"? Megan! Your podcast is quickly becoming my go-to guide for travel prep. Can't wait for the next episode! 👏👏

When I went to Universal Studios almost 3 years ago, I went with my brother, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, and we were there for my niece’s cheer competition so every day in Universal, we had at least 1 of her friends and her family with us. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and no one else was as much as me. There was so much to do and see and my sister-in-law wanted to move on to the next thing really quick. It felt rushed. If I was by myself, I’d want to spend however long I wanted at each attraction. I didn’t get to do that because it all felt rushed. In 2 months I’m taking a 2 week trip to South Korea ALONE!! Yes traveling alone can be lonely and you may want to experience it with someone but I can do what I want to do and not what someone else wants to do. I got a travel agent who helped with flights, private car to and from airport and hotel, she booked my choice of hotel for me, and she even booked me about 4 of my choices of activities to do. I’m even going to meet up with a family member of a Korean I know from my home town. But I plan on doing stuff on my own the rest of the trip. I’m so excited to be honest. Yes I wish I could experience it with someone else but at the same time, I can do what I want to do and at the speed I want to do it in

Based on this. I'm a little bit of both. I like to plan out some big things like travel plans but I'm not stringent on the hour by hour scheduling, unless I need to be somewhere at an certain time

Dang! Totally agree with you! I learned along the ways of my traveling adventures. I do the same when I go on trips with other people. I ask… “what’s ur budget?” Etc. etc. thanks for this video. Taking in more/taking notes. Keep up the good work.
