Jay Shetty Podcast

Күн бұрын

Jay Shetty sits down once again with Gary Vee to talk about choosing to fight for your passion over what other people have to say. When you allow people and their opinions affect how you live, you give them control over your life. You are giving them the power to decide for you. You can change that but choosing how much of your life you want to share and to what extent is already considered an intrusion into your private life.
Gary Vaynerchuk is a serial entrepreneur, and serves as the Chairman of VaynerX and the CEO of VaynerMedia. Gary is considered one of the leading global minds on what’s next in culture, relevance and the internet. Known as “GaryVee” he is described as one of the most forward thinkers in business - he acutely recognizes trends and patterns early to help others understand how these shifts impact markets and consumer behavior. Today, he helps Fortune 1000 brands leverage consumer attention through his full service advertising agency, VaynerMedia.

Love how Gary mentioned we are in control of what we give the world permission to talk about by controlling what we put out or give out. So easy to forget there is a lot of control we do have over our lives, and it really is a matter of shifting our mindset, then in turn our actions. Thank you for sharing this Gary and Jay

This message is for someone who needs to hear this and will fully understand it... You are not define by your circumstance or your past. It’s not what happened to you that determines your success in life; it is how you deal with those circumstances that determines your success in life. You are strong, you are capable and practice forgiveness (Forgiveness is for you; forgive your parents or anyone whom we have chosen to hurt us, to begin the process of healing and freedom. Remember: Forgiveness is for you to be freed, healed and happy. It’s a RESET BUTTON) and practice gratitude everyday. This will change the course of your life forever. Love you always and I believe in you wholeheartedly no matter what ✨❤️ - Nat

I loved this interview. wow. i have been listening to jay for a while, you have introduced me to so many amanzing people, with so many insightful and impactful testimonials/experience. Gary Vee was so trasparent and so knowledgeable on current social issues and ideologies. I related so much to the concepts of "and", "purple", and taking accountability. truly empowering

Couldn’t stop lol when Gary says about ‘being a trash man’! So 80’s and…. Btw we Need trash men!!! Loved this one. Going to listen again. Being a parent you feel as if you want everything for your kiddos- but listening to this material makes me realize I need to get them off the tit and let them flourish to the beings I helped mold. ( some good… some not so great! ) Thank You again. I always share these with my adult kids… hopefully they listen. ✨💝

Love the parenting talk as it encourages me. I have told my 16 year old ever since he was young that “I will always be smarter, stronger and tougher than him. Prove me wrong.” He continues to progress in all three and it pushes me to continue to get better as well. (Don’t tell him he is probably smarter than me already but I make up for it with experience. 😂)

Typing this before watching the episode, so I might be surprised, but honestly Gary's glorification of hustle culture is one of the things that made my life miserable for several years. Hustle did I as he "prescribed" only to realize that all I was thinking is working more and harder, money and all the relationships (family, friends, romantic) were marginalized. Very hard to rebuild what I destroyed and get back to balanced life but I am working...
@NathalieLazo
@NathalieLazo 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing and being truthful! You're on a path to rebuilding, my friend. Call people up and ask for their forgiveness -- some will forgive and some won't but forgiveness is an important step into freedom and rebuilding - for you and leading by example because most won't take this vulnerable step into freedom. You'll feel lighter for doing those actions. Thank you for being honest with yourself; not many people look within themselves in taking full responsibility for our lives. I may not know you but I'm proud for deciding to rebuild and I admire you for sharing this. I believe you will. :)

This really spoke to me! OMG I have a job...Not full-time but I am employed... But I am also running a six-figure business and now I am starting to teach spirituality. People tell me to quit my job all the time because it doesn't make sense for them to have a successful business and have a job. And now put spirituality in the mix and they lose their minds! And I am also super private. So much so that I don't even show my face on my platform. Yet, people still find value in my words. You can do it all if it is in your path! God will put the puzzle pieces together so easily for you, just watch!

I have attempted to meditate many times in my life and prior to this CD the only success I've experienced is with live guided meditation. kzbin.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq This is the first CD I've used that cuts through my unmedicated ADHD and enables me to truly relax and experience a quiet and energizing interval. The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!

The most amazing guest in On Purpose!. I enjoyed the interview. Honestly the title of the video doesn't do justice to Gary. He never makes moral judgements about how you use your time. He even encourages to take long periods off if you truly need it. Gary is not your average "motivational speaker" and sometimes it pisses me off seeing him portrayed as such. Other than that, excellent interview Jay!
