First, all the best to Monique, hope she is feeling better. Really nice video, the game looks like a fun puzzler. Great pacing and energy in your video! We were supposed to do another round of 3-player Gallerist tonite but one player had to back out so I taught my other buddy Calico instead, We played it a few times then he headed off to the FLGS to buy a copy of it for his niece's birthday present! Your Calico play through sold me on that game!

Always a pleasure to listen to you two talk about games. I (Carlo) really like Nova Luna and own it already, I thought I'd pass on Sagani for a while since it looked pretty similar, but after watching this I feel like I should at least find a way to try this soon. It looks different enough and now I'm wondering if I might like it more than Nova Luna. Look what you've done! :P

Our group loves Nova Luna but this one seems to really interest me too. Played with woman last night at game night and she couldn’t get concept of colors in circle and colors of tiles, so this would work better I feel too for newer gamers. After this video watch for 3rd time, may go to game store later today.

I am a fan of Uwe R. I only own patchwork which i really like. Was very interested in trying Indian Summer but have not played it yet. Judging from this play through, i can already tell I am in aggreement with you, Monique. This looks more streamlined than Nova Luna and therefore more interesting to me. Nothing beats a simple concept coupled with a necessity for thoughtful decisions to win and only a bit of luck involved! Uwe does it again! Would enjoy a series of play throughs of his games if you two are so inclined.

I think we prefer the art and over all look/feel of Nova Luna, but this one certainly plays better in our opinion. Thanks for checking out the video! 👍

Nova Luna is a brilliant design to me, and when I heard this was a spiritual successor I was surprised because I think of Nova Luna that way in relation to Patchwork. However, somehow this takes familiar elements from NL but specifically NOT the one it shares with Patchwork, and is also sort of an inversion where you're trying to get discs off your board. Instead of adjacency, you are planning a much bigger area of tiles. How is Rosenberg so good at designing games and iterating upon his past work? It's uncanny. I knew within thirty seconds of the rules explanation I need this one.

I played this game with my 8-year-old daughter and-hoo-doggies- is it harder than it looks! We had to find more stand in pieces for the cacophony discs. She loved it though. Thanks for the video!

At 26:00: When Monique picked up the orange tile with three arrows, could she have scored it immediately by placing it below the 6 point orange tile at the bottom of the board? Is it OK to have a gap (diagonally) to score the white arrow? Game looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for the play through.

My thoughts as well. And that actually brings me to a suggestion for these videos- while it's very much appreciated that you are editing out the "dead air", I think it'd be helpful if during your end of game discussion you could comment on how much time you actually cut, as an indicator of the AP level for you. Other than that, your series is always who I turn to first for new games!

I really like this one. Rules are fairly simple, and I believe simpler than those of Nova Luna, it doesn't take a lot of time to play and yet it has depth. I'd say taking a risk is more justified later in the game, as you have a better chance to satisfy the conditions immediately, though it might be good in the early game, as it opens a lot of possibilities as well. Nova Luna is certainly prettier, but I believe the iconography here is better and at no point do you wonder what the symbols mean. I agree that the sweet spot seems to be two players, as you will have more options most of the time. The only thing I can complain about is that now there is another game I want to buy after watching one of your playthroughs :)

This one is definitely more streamlined, but we agree aesthetically Nova Luna is more pleasing. We appreciate that the game length stays roughly the same at all player counts.

I have recently buy nova luna, so don't know if this one need to be buy it. I hear is very similar so maybe I should pass or wait to know more about the comparation. I found a comparation video but is in french or german, so don't understand it. ja ja ja.

Believe it already is. I got an email from the publisher stating pre-orders are available and in the email was this videos play through. It’s 39.99 plus shipping. Hefty price for a game like this.

I'm kinda torn, this looks way nicer than Nova Luna and is an easier teach, but I think Nova Luna is a superior game mechanics-wise. I personally prefer better mechanics but friends I'd play such a game with would prefer aesthetics and simplicity. The easy solution is to obviously buy both :p
