I have almost the same setup(sans the gacha... too poor to buy bcc andel i run bayeri and anabel to further increase my hell plant damage output). I am currently saving up to buy flame feathers(preferably enchanted with Sharp Blade 2 and above) as the extra fire damage can come in handy for my demonic fire plus i use marine sphere card and have searing flame passive maxed. It (greatly) improves the damage of my homunculi because it changes their elemental attack to fire and demonic fire lowers the enemy's fire resist.

Wait what? Marine sphere changes the homunculus atk element to fire as well? Are you sure? I thought it only changed the element of the atks of the gene

@@mrchocolategaming5388 yes. All homunculi auto attacks become fire. Also, eleanor and bayeri's skill are also changed to fire element. It's been like that ever since. Since searing storm passive reduces enemy's fire resistance by 3% ~ 15%, it increases the damage of our homunculi. Edit.. just to be extra clear, fire atk from flame feather, guild blessing or any other fire atk% doesn't affect our homunculi. If for some reason an item effect or skill will further reduce the target's fire resistance(fellow begetters and novice guardians under vine armor), then that's the only time the homun attacking monsters under demonic fire(max searing flame) will have its damage increased.

@@PunkFiddler Wait, if homunculi auto attacks become fire from magnum break, does Flame Heart/Great Nature change their elements as well? Also, Vine Armor increases fire dmg received, not fire dmg given. Have you tried using this in TT? What I've struggled with is that Eleanor and Bayeri's neutral dmg attacks are especially weak on Fl3

@@mrchocolategaming5388 no. Converters don't change the element of our homunculi, only Magnum Break. Vine Armor lowers the caster's fire resistance by 24% at max level. Which means if I see a begetter or NG cast vine armor, i'll just pop magnum break and make my homunculi attack them. Yes. The damage gets improved but not so much since they don't have access to ignore def(though eleanor has 25% innate ignore def). I kind of accpeted that i'm not gonna be top 3 dps in my raid group but I have eleanor debuff and searing storm debuff on my arsenal that will increase my teammates' damage.

It's always fun watching others show the potential of each class. IMO, Orc baby is still the best tank because his taunt skill and you can heal him! Afterall you have Lif to resu you, no need for Osiris

sir... the 80K heals I assume were from the mixed cast potions is that right? or was it from the symbiosis when the dieter hit hard the MVPs? I'm trying your build but unfortunately with lesser amount of hourglass.. so I can't take all the skills I want right now..

@@mildLeaves The 80K heals were from Mixed Cast potion. Symbiosis heals different amounts. TOO MANY TIMES! Haha just gotta keep trying until you get lucky :)

also I Did a test on Genetic Modification Skill. If you put more than 3 points in it -you do not get more than 3 DEX in stats!! anymore points put into that Skill is complete waste. Max suppose to give 5 DEX but still stuck at 3. Just FYI!! =)

hey great video again. we have similar builds and equips. *except I sold my war axe to alt account - has PDI4.0. Im using Holy dagger instead/Thief clothes. I havent really done too much testing but have you tried the blood sucking plant and if its also viable to use?

Have you tried Staff of Wing with your build? I've always been interested in a Vanil-build but afraid to make the jump away from my patk build. Do you think your axe is better suited overall, or if Caprice shouldn't be the main focus of a Vanil Build?

I have not, but I wouldn't really recommend it based on what I hear --- the Staff of Wing after all is one of the ingredients for War Axe of Destruction. It's just not a final weapon and War Axe would give more of a bonus.

I give up as creator main, So much effort to play this job espesially in ROM Why? Because the other class is like 1-2 shot mvp, When in original ro pc genetic is beast on MVP

One-shotting mvps is one thing (which is great for sure), and even though Begetter can't do it, it's still fun to experiment with different classes and builds. Begetter has a unique playstyle, and that speaks for him. The main thing I DON'T like about it is the consumables cost (all those bottles for Plants, ImprovedAcidDemo, FireExplosion, even MixedPotionCast for healing). Everything needs consumables. It's just not efficient to play Begetter on a daily basis, not in PVE and not in PVP. If you don't have Mistress card, maining Begetter is a waste of zeny imo, and that's pretty sad. edit: I only use Begetter for farming, nothing else. Begetter has such a nice kit though. Symbiosis heals, MixedPotion heals, VineArmor (anti-strip), Taunt, Revive, good buffs, good damage reduction skills...but the consumables cost is just a no-go. It outweighs his entire kit. RIP

Why put 2 pts on Gene Research when you could use those to max out Call Homunculus(Eleanor is quite underrated but she's pretty good) and SP potion throw? Also, that alchemist footgear(forgot the name) it increases potion throw by 20% which also translates to bigger heals with 4th job heal. It's surprisingly comparable to rune boots... it's eay cheaper and the atk and matk loss isn't really that noticeable.

Because SP Potion Throw doesn’t do anything at all to increase HP potion throw. I care only about HP in a PVE build. Eleanor is underrated but she’s not as good as Amistr cause she can’t taunt unfortunately. Dieter still does more dmg with Bio Explosion. I haven’t tried those boots actually! Interesting thought.

Errrr any1 know why the "bleeding status", from Eleanor's "Silver Charge" skill, didnt occur? Its just 1 hit skill with no bleeding effect at all
