Isn't it Bow/Staff and not Staff/Bow? Or does it not matter which slot you put the two weapons in?

@@Stalkercat it doesnt matter, you can cast any skill and it will automatically "use" the associated weapon. the "main" weapon only matter for certain passives that you only get if you have a specific weapon as main.

Torn between gs/dagger or xbow/dagger. Did you play both by any chance?

I have played a bit of Xbow for pve. Was more of a fan of gs obviously. Xbow is a good pickup for pve as a 3rd weapon around a month or 2 into the game which is what I did

For co-op dungeons can you join random people or do you have to have a party?

You can either matchmake if they allow it right away or there will at least be a party board to search for groups. Matchmake isn’t usually available for newest dungeon releases but t1 may be an exception

Damn I have a feeling gate keep will be a thing in this game already..checking for armor enchantment b4 entering dungeons. I can understand the reason why they do it but hopefully its not as bad as lost ark had back in the day LOL

You can make your own parties and no one ever asks the leader to link. Also, the gear recs are very basic, nothing crazy. Basically makes sure your not trolling with level 0 equips and haven't put any effort in

Yeah agreed gate keeping is nice when youre min level and prevents against people doing “challenge runs” lol

Where each open world dungeon mob drops specific gear that you do/do not want... how does that work with group play? Are these intended to be solo dungeons? If they're for groups, can you avoid wasting points on mobs being killed that you don't want drops from?

Open world dungeons are spread across the map and are display on map. Solo or group. Group is faster farming. If you group kills mobs it takes points from you so only kill what you want/need.

@@ireviktv So the whole group would need to focus farming one particular mob, in this case. Otherwise you could/would be wasting points getting drops that other people in the party are trying to get?

correct, party farming is more so for completing contracts or general farming. if your target farming then just farm solo or convince your group to do the same

It changes a lot. Way more early on and drops off fast as prices stabilize. I made 30-40k lucent I think in the first 2-3 months on kr launch and that wasn’t optimal at all

Is sns and gs good for pve and pvp ?

There a slight problem with your guide they removed XP from exploration quests 💀 you now need to do the purple side quests or contracts I guess

no they not? blue quests give a lot of xp

I’m level 50 so they show no xp. The beta was boosted. You will have to do some blue quests on launch

I never understand why people won’t even just play through the game regardless of swipe to win. You’re probably not even going to make it to the point of endgame where pay to win is relevant.

you can see already what it's all about even before the game actually starts: -Limited access to dungeons if you don't have a certain gear level. I think this is the worst design decision there is in mmos these days because it leads to players being locked out by other players . The whole idea of the PVE part of MMOs is to play together and not exclude each other like high school bullying.

It's deterring people who would quit after a few weeks anyways, it's nothing to worry about. The game is designed for server merges. I'm F2P and I'm hyped, I've already been playing in KR. Everyone who plays, will win. Play to win. Pay to progress quicker but you still lose when it's your turn to lose.

I have mixed feelings about it. I'm a console player, so when I consider that I've dumped anywhere from $60-$100/year for a decade into a game like Destiny/Destiny 2, I then realize I have nothing to complain about.
