I love the way you give analogies for what movements feel like. Like hugging a tree, or cheek to the light. These tips are helping me teach my beginning ballet class. Thanks!

This series is so helpful to me! I'm a ballroom dancer who began dancing at age 51 with no previous dance experience. 10 years later, I've learned so much, but there is always so much more. One of my teachers suggesting beginning ballet as another way to train. Your "hug a tree" image really resonated with me, as I still work towards having natural looking arms in motion.

I take adult absolute beginner ballet at the Y and at Alvin Ailey. The Ailey class ends with a balance and I never quite get it right. Your video will be so helpful to me to learn this step. You look so graceful and beautiful. Thank you for doing a beginner series !
