I cut my hair into a pixie in January and totally didn't think about the growing-it-back process. It's too short for longer styles...and its too long for shorter styles. This video is perfect. I have that locbooster too. Let me go separate this hair. LOL Thank you for this perfect ACTUALLY SHORT HAIR tutorial. 🥳 Update: I found it easier to do the first piece crochet, but trying to put a perpendicular piece was very difficult. Found the braid down easier. I'm a beginner who has never done her own box braids and this helped make it so easy. Just have to work on my tucking next.

I’m so happy I found this video! I’ve been wanting to do braids again but it’s so expensive so I wanted to see if I could do it myself, this method and being able to add the other strand perpendicular will save my fingers and hopefully be easier to do. Yes! Thank you for this! I’ve had longer hair for years and recently cut it all down. The only way I’ve ever done my braids is through the rubber band method, but watching this with shorter hair just gave me the reaffirmation I needed 😭💜
