Beginner crochet: Lesson 6 ~ turning/end of the row

In this video I’ll show you how to turn your work when you are using the single crochet stitch. You can do this also with double crochet, just chain two instead of one at the end of each row.

what happrens if you only go though only one part of the V?

@@maryellenmrozowski7388 if you go through only one part it will be a lot more pliable and will result in a stretchier project. I use that for winter caps to make them very comfortable. Meaning you can do all single crochets in the back loop only and make a beanie that’s super stretchy. I’m planning on making a video on that after I teach all the basics.
