+Glenn Rogers Not all are like this but thanks. I also try to explain things for beginner fly tyers. I feel it's our responsibility to teach the sport to keep our numbers growing.

What are trout feeding on around Wisconsin and Minnesota boarder and what kind of fly should I use? Thanks jack
@TheFlymanJim7 жыл бұрын
I live in Pa. and the water is too high to fish right now. But if you look out for early black stoneflies you may have some dry fly action. You can find out what is hatching on your waters by going to google and search "Hatch chart Wisconsin Minnesota". These hatch charts will tell you what to expect and when.

Would you ever consider doing fan mail with and giving some of your flys to help a young fly fisherman get into the sport like me?

This tie's pretty much like an elk hair caddis. Beginner here.
@TheFlymanJim4 жыл бұрын
Not really. Elk hair caddis has hackle in the body. Although you don't need it, unless your fishing riffiles.
