Wow! You can change the name of this video to basic eurorack patching 101 too. Fantastic explanation and great sound also. My time is limited when I do get to sit behind my rack so these refreshers are always helpful.

great video and the real treat is in the end when it's part of a big patch. I like the subtle panning noised hihat.

I’ve been looking around for a magical VCO that can make the brass sounds I’m looking for but it’s clearly obvious it’s a sound design thing. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

It is inspiring to see how very sophisticated instrument voices can be created using basic waveforms. I would love to see how you would approach creating a didgeridoo!

So a problem I have been running into is with sequencing. The sequencer I'm using is putting out triggers and the trigger to gate converter doesn't run long enough unless I loop it but then it doesn't turn off. Is there a module that can take a trigger and hold a high voltage until another trigger turns it off?
@JakieWakieEggsAndBakie

What I've just figured is to use a Seq 3 with 2 steps active. One high one low and the triggers go to the clock input to move it to the next step.

have a look at a Flip Flop. One trigger will turn on a gate, and another will turn it off. Let me know if it works :)
