Outstanding! Omri, you never fail to spark inspiration and ideas with your videos… This style of “Patch from Scratch” video is my absolute favourite form from thee because I’ll patch along and end up going off in all manner of tangents into amazing worlds. Which, of course, is what it’s all about! Cheers 😁

Great ideas - I absolutely love the idea of sequencing the VCA that is modifying the initial sequence. Fantastic video as always, good sir!

Excellent ideas! I especially enjoy the use of the VCA as AND logic; I can imagine this being a really good technique for hardware if you have most of a patch together and happen to have a spare VCA sitting around unused
@OmriCohen-Music Жыл бұрын
Yes, totally. VCAs in hardware are definitely helpful!

So THAT's how variating sequences is done! Nice, I feel it would have taken ages to figure this on my own from listening to other's patches

Hey Omri! I'm farily new to modular (and synthesis in general) and I'm looking to go through your basics & practical modular courses. How would your recent VCA course fit into the progression? i.e. which order would you suggest doing these three courses in? Thanks!
@OmriCohen-Music Жыл бұрын
Hi! Well, I guess that the VCA is a sort of a bonus course for after you went through the basics, so I would definitely recommend starting with the basics course first. After that, if you want to concentrate on the VCA building block, this course can be very inspiring, in my opinion. But you will need the basics for this first. Cheers!

@@OmriCohen-Music Cool! Thanks for getting back. I'll look forward to going thorugh your two basic courses first then, before considering whether I'd want to study the VCA course as well :)
