We hope this helps you beginner golfers get started with the essentials needed to start striking golf balls from your first go. As you progress, make sure to check out our other videos where you can learn more elements to help you develop your game. Here is a great one to help you : kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIWmfGl9fLiWoM0

Just the perfect introduction to learning the swing. Wish I was taught this when I started 40 years ago. I guess that’s why they call it the golf “swing” not the golf hit.

Thank you John, we hope you pass this on to new aspiring golfers. You are absolutely bang on in your reply here. It is a golf "swing", though as golfers we often forget it.

Philip, as a 56 year old I began playing about 5 months ago. There were all sorts of well meaning friends providing advice which often made the game more difficult and confusing. It wasn't till I found Easiest Swing and read Positive Impact Golf that things began to click. I wish I had viewed a video like this when I first started. It is absolutely the best and most beneficial instruction I have seen for a beginner. Thanks!!

Thank you for the absolutely glowing review! It's very kind and thoroughly appreciated. Easiest Swing aims to make golf easier for every golfer no matter what level they are. We want to simplify the golf swing and pass over the key information in an easy to understand way. We would love nothing more than for golfers who take up the game and existing golfers to progress quickly, making the game easier and uncomplicated. Keep going with your game, watch our other videos and do your best to ignore the 'badvice' - more about that in part two of this series. Thanks again 😊

Thank you so much for that glowing review. It really helps us to hear comments such as this when we are not following the mainstream but are working our hardest to simplify the game. Some, who have been indoctrinated with that more complex instruction just cannot believe golf can be this simple. Then we hear a real life experience like yours and we just know we are helping people. Thank you it makes it all worthwhile hearing your story.

I've been a casual golfer for nearly 20 years and hitting the ball pure is still incredibly rewarding every time. Even if I shoot it into the woods, I still feel good about that strike. This is the most relaxing and least overwhelming instructional video I think I've ever seen. Also, we have the same last name. Cheers, brother.

A good, solid, effortless strike is incredibly satisfying whether it goes to your target or not. It's only a double bonus when it does! Learning to enjoy golf whether the result is good or bad is an incredibly important part of progression. Thank you for your very kind feedback, we aim to make golf simple, easy and achievable for every golfer. Ultimately because golf is easy. p.s. Great choice of surname 😁

Cheers to a fellow Sparky! Thanks for your comment about simplicity. This is our absolute goal - to bring answers to golfers in the simplest language possible. Have a look at our other videos and I hope you will see this general theme throughout them all. Share this with your friends as we want to get this message out to the golf world that golf doesn’t have to be complicated. Keep up the good striking and with us you will undoubtedly find this happening more frequently but also more often on target. Really appreciate your thoughts. 👍

Thank you Dan. We really hope it helps golfers brand new to the game, get off to a great start. As you rightly point out, it never hurts to go back to the basics occasionally and remind yourself of the key principles to unlocking your authentic, easy golf swing. We also hope our advocates of Easiest Swing can use this guide as a template to help bring new golfers to the game, knowing they are helping these beginners in the best way possible.

Dan that is so great to hear you say, whilst we didn’t aim this video at experienced golfers you are so right to identify that even experienced golfers can “go back to basics” once in a while. Sometimes it can help you just to be reminded of the key basics and this can get you back on the right tracks. Look forward to hearing from your society members to see if they benefit too. Thanks!

love your videos and started applying it to my golf swing. can you tell me what is the average yardage i need to achieve on a 7 iron using the easiest swing?
@Easiestswing
@Easiestswing 8 ай бұрын
This is very individual with a huge range from player to player, but normally when applied well, most golfers can add 20 or 30 yards to a 7 iron with absolute ease. It is what we describe as effortless power whereas most golfers suffer from powerless effort.

I am currently playing with a strong grip and 3/4 swing but want to try and make my swing longer and maybe drive the ball a bit further . I Feel a bit out of control when I practice it. Do you have any videos on cocking the wrists earlier etc to get me into a good position at the top. I have bought the book but I’m not that far into it yet.

The most important thing is to relax. We often carry far more tension than we realise and this kills your golf swing. Try out this video which is about letting go of tension kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHeVfml4a6ynitE and this one to explain about the importance of relaxing your hold, which will help you to engage your wrists more kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqfNenRqq7mBea8

Great video! I am a 76 year old golfer who hits shorter than most others my age. My hands want to change the location of the dot on my left hand during my efforts to copy your grip. My left "dot" always ends up half way past the big thumb knuckle towards the tip of the thumb. Any suggestions?
@philipsparks8315
@philipsparks8315 9 ай бұрын
Such a great question and I’m so glad you asked. This is the very reason I want players to focus on that contact between the two hands as I see this very commonly with club golfers, they may have an interlock or overlap hold but the two dots are disconnected. I would suggest to start just holding those two points together and swinging without a club to become aware of what that feels like. Then when you feel you are getting used to it go hit some balls with a wedge and a half swing and see if you can still be aware of that feel. If you are successful you can gradually bring it into your game with every club. This could well be the source of learning to create more clubhead speed with absolute ease and creating a whole lot more power. Let us know how you get on we are fascinated to know!

Hi guys I’ve been practicing easy swing for a couple of months, striking the ball nicely what I can’t work out why I’m hitting off to left. I would really appreciate any tips to fix this problem. Thanks Richard
@Easiestswing
@Easiestswing 8 ай бұрын
Hi Richard great to hear your striking has improved. I’m guessing you may have an out to in action which once you square the clubhead to that path creates a pull to the left. This is a common problem that happens as you improve. You may just need to check some basics if this the case and adjust your aim accordingly. Suggest you check your alignment out as per this video you might well be surprised. I coached a pro recently with exactly this issue and his aim point was 4 feet out just five yards in front of us! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6LVh5qBiNOfnposi=I5GAjDDLwgy03cmj

.. hit balls with your feet together with relaxed hands... you will feel the clubhead or fall down...😅
@philipsparks8315
@philipsparks8315 9 ай бұрын
A good way to improve your feel of the clubhead is to turn the club upside down holding the shaft just below the head. Relax your hands wrists arms and shoulders (probably even better with eyes shut) slowly Swing back and through and see if you can feel the grip end of the club. After a while reverse the Club back to normal and do the same thing and I’m sure you will feel the clubhead. Sounds as if you have probably always played with too much tension in your arms/hands which is a block to feel. Try some easy wedge shots with everything as relaxed as possible including your hold and you should start to gain clubhead feel. None of this will happen instantly if you haven’t experienced this kind of feel previously but with practice you will be able to improve. Good luck
