I have a flow wand from 2010ish that I never could figure out. I’m so glad to find these videos. Maybe now I’ll get around to learning. When it’s in the neutral position should it be at 12? Mine is closer to 11.

For the next person wondering about this, some wands can hang at 11 when still, then go to 12 when spinning. Is this preferred? Not sure, I just started too haha.

This is so much fun to learn. Just curious: the string attached to the middle of the wand would it slide to the top while you spin? How secured is it?

I’m assuming you’re talking about the wand itself? The string we use is incredibly secure, but it doesn’t hold the wand in place, hence the wand can move along the string. That being said, at the speed the wand flows, air resistance is more than enough to hold the wand in place and I’ve never had the wand move up and down the string by accident myself :)

I have seen some tutorial on stringing the wand. It actually has a hole in the middle where the string goes through, so it doesn’t slip anywhere, either to the top or to the bottom.
