Possibly in the future could you go more in depth on how to prep nails and the cuticle area? Because some beginners, like myself struggle with prep which often leads to lifting. I also struggle with the cuticle area in general because it’s either too thin, too thick, or it gets on the skin and doesn’t look very nice- it would be really appreciated. I love the short beginner friendly nails by the way 💕💕

Actually, I think she has a video on nail prepping to prevent lifting... she really goes in depth also!!! That’s my problem too... I also struggle with, especially when using color acrylics, flooding the cuticle!!!! Ugggghhhhhhhh.... it’s so frustrating.... so I definitely feel ur pain @JazzD.

Hi with prep most of it’s covered in this vid all I do extra is I push the cuticles bk with a pusher before I use my efile I do the steps she covers in this video but I also make sure every coroner of the nail plate has the shine removed going over with a hand file if needed I wipe the dust away with acetone I I used a good quality dehydrator and 2x coats of primer. Apply a bit away from the cuticle then nudge it up at first leaving a gap till u get more confident always apply a bit more than u need rather than to little it’s easier to file away rather than to add later on x

OsoPetty the sass isn’t needed. And they asked for her to explain even more in depth. Because I know quite a bit about nail prep, but today I learned that it’s best to have your primer brush basically dry while going around the cuticle. I didn’t know there was an actual point where there was too much primer, and it’s a lot less obvious than you know

These are soooooo cute! I love this shape. I usually do a short/medium almond or stiletto on myself. That length is harder to do than you think (especially when you're used to doing super long nails)in order to get a nice apex and make sure the nails aren't too thick and chunky. You did a beautiful job!

This is actually the exact shape and length I done my last client. And it took me longer than when I do long nails. And I still felt like they didnt look that good, she liked them. She LOVED THEM! but I wasnt happy with them. The shape, the ombre, I just wasnt happy with any of it. But my client was, so I guess that counts for something.

I tried acrylic for the first time on a form (my nails are suuuuper short) last night after watching literally all your videos over the course of a couple weeks and it was so hard! I couldnt seem to evenly drag the product onto the form to build the nail. Maybe my beads are too small. I will say, my beads were perfect thanks to your video!
