Watch out Balkan, I can hear the angry engineers on their way here from the Mechanical ducting demonstration! Still, good on you for exploring the full potential of Revit - definitely gives us more appreciation for how our engineers work! I assume we're likely to see electrical and fire services next as well to cover all the bases?
@balkanarchitect5 жыл бұрын
Well if there is enough interest in those topics I will make courses on those topics 🙂 Regarding the comment about the angry engineers, yeah I know, but I'm just trying to show Revit features, I'm not teaching plumbing

@@balkanarchitect Well, I was going to post an angry comment, but honestly I love your content! You and Aussie Bim Guru are my Favorite Revit Guys on KZbin. I've learned so much from the both of you. I hope to do some collaboration with both of you. I think it would be great to design a building together and show how expert revit users can really change the game when it comes to Modeling in Revit. Hopefully we can show the community good collaboration between Architect and Engineer. I'm focusing on Plumbing videos right now, but will be doing some mechanical and Electrical videos in the future. Love you guys! Just remember, don't forget those vent pipes!
@mep_guy2 жыл бұрын
I was doing some research on the top ranking plumbing videos and Balkan (as expected) has the top 4 videos on plumbing. I was going to make a comment on the design, except I found your little conversation. You were spot on lol. But I'm holding back because I really respect both of you. I think its really good that both Architects and Engineers learn the others trades since we all work in the same model. It's insane that most engineers and mep designers have never drawn a wall in Revit and vice versa. But, I think with youtube we can really start to help the community. Hope to collaborate with both you guys in the future! A side note your family video where you create the duct hanger was insane. I was completely blown away how fast you were able to put that together. Keep up the good work!
@AussieBIMGuru2 жыл бұрын
@@mep_guy cheers! On the one hand I also sometimes question the subject matter and suitability of topic/presenter given experience, but at the same time it's a shame there aren't similarly dedicated MEP BIMtubers out there working at the same frequency/duration of upload I guess. Looks like you're working on changing that though!

Hello I have one question for you How to Revit components object move in vertical. like bed, table, sofa
@balkanarchitect5 жыл бұрын
If they are not face based, you can just go in an elevation or a section and move them up, if they are reference plane based then you will need to create a reference plane at a specific height and place your component on that ref. plane. :)
