It’s interesting the way you were talking about your love for running the good and bad parts of it, and it’s exactly how life is, it’s good, bad, ugly and pretty sometimes 😊

Becca, you don’t know this but we’re best friends lmao I just love your vibe and your attitude towards running and health in general. You’ve inspired me to start my own journey post-graduating college! Going for a 10k today! Been running 5k everyday so far this month. So much love for u xx

So glad I found your videos!!! I just started running a week ago and I’m so grateful to hear all the gems you’ve found from your journey. How you talk about the self talk element of your wellness and how flexible you are with yourself is really powerful and resonates with me. I’d love to see more running vlogs like this. I’ve been looking for something just like your channel and I haven’t found that much out there that hits quite like this. I know your just starting, but gurrrrrrrrl, you’re doing something right 🌻 Keep it up ;)

Hi Becca, I simply love your content and honesty. You are the most relatable runner on this platform and by sharing your running journey you are also encouraging us out here, also having that mindset of uuuhhhh maybe im not good enough to do a marathon, cause those thoughts do often creep up. Please keep continue sharing your journey. Much love from South Africa💟

Thank you for sharing! I enjoyed your vlogs so far. My experience from training for my marathon back years ago was that I was not stretching well enough which led to bad knee pain. I do recommend to take time to really stretch your hip flexors very well each day. I am sure there are videos out there.

Not sure if you use a moisturizer too already. But if not if you use Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie with your ECO styler gel 👌🏾I have a similar texture and the combo is top tier for a slick pony and keeping your curls moisturized and healthy ❤
@NomadicIslanders6 ай бұрын
I love eco styler gel so much! What you used isn’t a lot. We all use a huge glob lol. That’s just how it is with eco styler. You have to saturate your curls with it for it to do it’s thing. Their gel doesn’t have alcohol and makes my hair feel super moisturized and never irritates my scalp so, I will continue 🤷🏽♀️. I’ve been using it since high school and have healthy waist-length hair soooo, it’s good enough for me 😂.

Becca, I just found your channel and I LOVE all your content! It’s also super relatable to me right now…I’m training for my first full marathon - and I *hate* 16km (10 mile) days 🫠 Feeling lucky to be training in Australian summer though, otherwise I’d be in the same boat with that heat. Your attitude is so refreshing and I can’t wait to follow the plant based marathon journey further ☺️

Just a tip to prevent hair damage. Brush your hair back into the ponytail with a brush that has looser bristles (tangle teaser, denman, etc). THEN smooth The top of your hair with the double sided brush.

Ok no one will get this unless they’ve had a baby but I have a ton of post partum baby hair/ bangs/ hair loss regrowth and I never know what to do with them. My hair is so fine but when I run I put my hair in a pony tail and literally they stick straight up. Gel is usually hard to wash out of my hair but I’m gonna try that eco gel because your hair stayed in place so well! And omg I couldn’t get into Assassins blade!! I’m on queen of shadows now! First time through the series 😊

I found you through running but I’d be interested in seeing videos that are running adjacent too. I loved your little hair tutorial so maybe a video about running clothes, running safety, apps you use when running, meals you eat while training, a real time run with me, like a running pov 😭 your experience in the military, i dont know silly fun easy videos here and there so you don’t get burnt out.

Impressive run, good for you. Running is ritual and affirmation of authenticity of and to self. You can fake a lot of things in life - but running is not one of them, and a reminder that more times than not, you get out of things what you put in them.

Would you consider doing a workout clothing favorites kind of video? Those bras look so comfy that you use and the shorts you wear sometimes actually look long enough and not super tight. And your tops are Appealing but yet also loose. I’m not a fan of working out in oversized tshirts anymore. I’d like to look put together but also still functional and comfortable

Do you have to wash your hair every day because of buildup from the eco styler and beeswax? Right now I'm working out every day (3 day run/3 day walk/1 day stretching/yoga) and I'm washing my hair every Sunday. I also have natural hair and I honestly don't want to have to wash my hair mid-week because it's such an ordeal lol 😂
@wheresbeccaat6 ай бұрын
So I don’t use beeswax everyday usually only my longer runs so I do a cowash 3x a week and a full shampoo wash 1x, I do at least rinse my hair everyday so it’s annoying 😂 I’ve been thinking of getting some knotless braids but I feel like it’s gonna look so frizzy after one run
@tynie6266 ай бұрын
@@wheresbeccaat ahhh okay! The struggle! I'm getting to the point where I don't want to have to style my hair anymore lol. I was thinking about braids too but then I imagined having to run with heavy, sweaty braids and I changed my mind so fast... Thanks for replying though 😊💗
