Great video. Loved the format. Would love to see this type of video on Frankenstein, Wuthering Heights, or any of the books by E.M. Forster.

Thank you for the comment! I actually planned on doing Wuthering Heights in the future as it is one of my favorite Victorian Era books!

This is my favorite book of all time. I've read it twice, once in my 20s and once in my 30s, and both times it helped me feel like I wasn't alone in my suffering and confusion. Thank you for shining a light on this novel!

I watched this when you released it originally, but you have now convinced me. I picked it up today. From how you described it, it seems so engaging! I’m hoping once I finish exams this week and next, I’ll start it!

Great video, can't wait for more of this series. You definitely encouraged me to read this book. It's in my library, so that's perfect. :)

Have a review on Ulysses. I'm afraid of starting this book but I also know its a classic so I want to read it.

I am wayyyy too afraid to even begin to tackle Ulysses right now haha! But the good thing is my friend Matt's Bookshelf has a series called "Road to Ulysses" where he is talking about Joyce's work and it is really good I highly recommend you go check it out! Thank you for your comment!

@@colorlesswonderland hey tyler, thanks for the advice. Although after digging a bit about it, I think I'm first gonna read his other less terrifying works so that I can better suit myself with his style. But it'd be a really fun video if you did though. Find it almost ironic that a book attained a classic tag even when most people haven't read it, so that has been my motivation all Along.

hi, i’m 15 and i was wondering if this would be a good book for me to read? i’m intrigued from this video but i don’t know if i’ll really be able to enjoy and understand it as well as i could if i waited a while to read it

Hey Ariana! Thank you for comment! I have a lot of students who also get worried that something may be too hard for them to read so I will tell you the same thing I tell them: go for it even if it seems tough! I don't know what you reading ability is but I bet it is higher than you give yourself credit for. This book won't be the easiest but if you take your time and look up stuff when you get confused I absolutely think you can read it! It is a very accessible classic literature book. I also want to say that if you do try and it does happen to be tough, it's okay to put it down and try again another time; don't get discouraged! So in short, give it a shot! I think you will understand it and enjoy it! Let me know how it goes!

I can spot a copy of Antkind behind you. Have you already read it and if so, what do you think about it? I still don‘t quite know whether or not I should read it 🤔
