I got my infernal cape tonight on my Ironman thanks to you. I ended up dropping my occult and virtus top switch for bandos top and bottom with a kodai and elidinis ward like you recommended. Such a smart idea for those later waves when you know you’re going to have to tank a ranger or melee at some point. I actually had a run where I lost all pillars with the old recommended mage swaps and realized that extra mage gear in the inferno is not the move at all.. you either get the nibblers in one hit or you don’t, so you better be tanky enough to chase them down on when it’s necessary. I also want to say I got my dizana quiver a week ago using your videos as well, which in turn inspired me to go hard for my infernal cape and not give up. I want to thank you for such good guides. The way you talk, encourage others, and remain calm is just really inspiring. Keep up the good work.. you’re an amazing teacher.

Very nice guide and it’s great seeing natural mistakes and messy stacks. I also like the Aaty FCF series for being simple more tactics (it’s one step up from this) but the runs are a bit too clean because he sometimes solves situations without realizing it. I had a math teacher in middle school who should have been teaching phd students and he was so brilliant he had a hard time recognizing when or why students didn’t understand things. This is the big problem with most of the guides out there. To me the most valuable part of your teaching style is showing the basic fundamentals of the encounter so anyone can jump in and try. Thank you!
@VideoGameBot9 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! We definitely got a handful of messy waves in this guide, but I hope I made it clear on an alternative way of dealing with those messy stacks (utilizing the south pillar). I used to be a math tutor as well believe it or not :) One thing I try to always remember is that we all started on square 1 when we started learning. I will never forget how challenging it was for me to get into pvm, and I can only imagine that other people find themselves in similar situations. If I can relay any of the knowledge I've gained from pvm, in hopes of making things simpler for others, then I feel I have succeeded in my mission :)

Just got my cape with Bowfa after waiting on the new prayer regen potions to be released, and I owed a lot to this guide and the flinch methods. Got to Zuk in only 7 tries! One thing that helped with south pillar solves that I don't think was shown in the vid is you can corner trap with the south pillar's southeastern corner. It really helps with controlling things that slide down the east side of the pillar, like the mager does at 58:55. Standing on the the east side of the marked tile would have trapped the mager. Hope someone else finds this helpful in their attempts! :)

I’m a pre inferno quiver owner so I’m eager to get back into grinding the inferno. The furthest I’ve gotten is wave 56 in 4 attempts. The length is what stopped me initially. That’s why the colosseum was easier to grind out. I didn’t lose hours per attempt to a single mistake. I also don’t have a tbow which sucks but it’s not that bad. Love your guides I’ll keep you posted on the progress.

Which is harder, Colosseum or Inferno? Always loving your guide man!
@VideoGameBot9 ай бұрын
I think the inferno waves are longer, more volatile, and have more randomness with regards to getting good/bad spawns. But I think Sol Heredit is a harder final boss than Zuk. Overall, I would say the Inferno is slightly harder than the Colosseum. But that doesn't mean we can't make it a bit easier than many have been led to believe!

I understand that. The inferno is a very long run, taking most learners/first timers a full 2 hours to complete. 2 hours of nonstop thinking, focusing, and implementation of mechanics. I don't suggest this content is for everyone. Many people will still decide to leave this content behind. And that is totally 100% fine. My goal with this video is to show those who are interested in giving it a try, but are still worried about the techniques they might have heard of before, that there IS an alternative. And while that alternative might still be somewhat complicated, it can help to simplify the process, even if its just a little bit. Wishing you all the luck :)

Thank you for making this. If I don’t have a max cape, is the Regen bracelet worth it without max cape? Would this strategy work if I brought the following replacements: quiver + rada’s blessing 3, zaryte vambs, ring of suffering (i), guardian boots, extra restore instead of SGS, and anguish/occult swap? Or what would your advice be with the swaps I suggested?
@C0bbler16 ай бұрын
Use the quiver and vambraces if you don’t have max cape. Use a lightbearer and blowpipe and leave the sgs behind if you can lazy flick on the easy parts at the very least. that blowpipe spec heals for a lot and does some serious damage during those harder waves and can help you clutch up and the lightbearer will save you a lot of time and possibly the whole run. As for the mage gear.. I used a kodai,elidinis ward(f),bandos top and bottom as my mage swap…. Left the traditional mage top and occult behind after I had a run where i got really unlucky on nibbler splashes and lost all my pillars.. made me realize that mage gear isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. (Edit) I saw you got your cape on another video comment just after I posted this to you.. oops haha… big congrats though, let’s gooooo!

I'm not 100% sure which is better. My best guess is bofa? I think crossbow requires slightly different zuk mechanics as well. Can't confirm. Never used a crossbow before. However, as for spec weapon, can you use an eldritch staff? Kinda expensive. But its pretty pog for prayer regen.

I did :3 Took me 14 or 15 tries, 4 brews. I used an interesting gear setup that allowed me to keep protection prayers + rigour on for 63 full minutes nonstop. This allowed me to more or less brute force it with efficient dps, while not worrying so much about prayer flicks. My cheesy strats are kinda infamous in the WDR inferno discord rofl. IDK if thats a good thing or not XD edit: I hope you realize that this guide is specifically made to NOT use ANY high level / meta techniques. I refused to use any sort of meta flicking techniques, to show that it is possible, and you don't need to learn those strats to earn your cape.
