Thanks a lot for this video! Fun fact: Something like 20 years ago, I was deep in the NHL game modding scene. And actually even PES, back in 3-4-5, maybe 6. Astonishingly, many didn't realize they needed the base game to run the mods. Fast-forwarding to today, my biggest hurdle before seeing your video was finding the base game and then realizing I didn't even need it! Oh, how the times have changed. :) Please keep making PES-related videos!

Tbf you only don't need base PES21 because SP:Football Life is already the base game, but with pre-integrated mods because the mod creator changed how some mechanics work from the base, the rest are add-ons that update each season, facepacks, stadiums, etc. You'll see from the size of the base download that it's about the size of normal PES21 too. But yeah he simplified the process and you don't even need a slider loader for SPFL.

Is the megapatch appropriate for the steam version as well? I have modded PES5, 6 and 2013 for years. I was totally surprised eFootball 2021 had such a strong modding community. I play PES2021 with several mods on my ROG Ally (with integrated graphics) but haven't tried SP Football Life yet. Fox Engine is amazing and allows great visuals on such devices.

Do you mean the reshade tutorial? First I press "home" to open the window. Then I use the mouse to navigate the reshade menu.

I have two problems. First is the squad file or whatever (edit000) being a bit wrong (maybe). The starting 11 goes by positions so GKs are CB's and all attackers are on the bench. Second one is that master league starts in the season 22/23. I'm using FL24 with megapatch too. Edit: Got the info I needed :D

You're welcome! Based on my experience, antivirus programs flag a lot of stuff falsely when it comes to modding. But of course, download the files for the face pack that you are comfortable using on your computer. You can check the one on the smoke patch website!

Hello, I have done all of the steps. Follow them perfectly very clear steps. I am only having problems with the squad file. It says that it is for a different game version and I’m not sure what to do. It says that cannot edit file because for some reason, it says that I’m not sure whyit also says it’s a Trojan agent, but I’m not sure of that. Also, if you could respond, it would be very helpful.

Bro I've been playing FL24 since April....now that I've installed the megapatch and the updated player faces, any way I could delete the older player faces files on the download folder inside the sp folder, they make up 50 GB, if they serve nothing, that's alot of space that I could use

Run reshade installer again and choose the same "FL_2024.exe" file. Then the reshade installer will ask you what to do - choose "uninstall".

My gameplay completely freezes while I am in a match... like when I am playing a match using the facepack and megapatch, the match goes on for 10-15 mins and then the game completely freezes. Is this some of a glitch? or should I start a new save to prevent such freezing from happening? Edit: The gameplay without the facepack is completely lag free and freeze free, when only the megapatch is active

Hmm, did you install Megapatch before installing camera? If not, then maybe its just not there, just a guess. But if that's the case then maybe you will have to add 1 line in "sider.ini" file in "SiderAddons" folder. Check if this line is there (add it if not): lua.module = "BroadCastCam.lua"

They are false positives. You must turn off your Windows Defender or whatever you’re using. If you don’t do this, you will not be able to make everything work correctly.

Reshade presets change how games look like - it's like a filter added on top of game's visuals. This particular preset changes mainly: - colors depth/tone (default ones are a bit "shallow" imo) - contrast - anti-aliasing (less janky edges) If you install Reshade preset, you can enable/disable it during the match to see the difference preset makes.

i have only one question. I am playing PES since PES 2010 days and i remember back then, sometimes when u added something to the game u had to start new master league. Well about few weeks back i downloaded FL25 and installed their faces, nothing more and started master league. If i wanted to add megapatch when it comes out for FL25 and their faces instead of FL ones and other stuff do i need to create new master league or these changes will also apply for already existing ML? Not sure, i am too old now🤣i dont play PES that often like i used to play it around 2010-14🤣

You can run the sider with "FL 2024 start.exe" - it launches Sider and then FL24. Alternatively, go to "SiderAddones" folder and launch Sider.exe file there before you start the game.

I knew I forgot to show something! To make sure you always start the game with sider running, you can use "FL 2024 start.exe" file from the main game folder - this file starts sider and then the game.

What do I do if Jdownloader blocks the download? everything seemed to be going well, I managed to get the first two parts extracted, but after that it just stopped. Status says "Blocked". I tried turning off windows defender in the mean time and that solved nothing. I'd like to give this game a try but if it's not meant to be then it's cool. Any possible help/ tips are warranted.

You can download everything without jdownloader - it was suggested for convenience, it's not mandatory to use it.

It's an updated gameplay mod version of the one I showcase and recommend, but the updated version is unfortunately not included by default in the Megapatch files, so have to be updated manually! Totally worth it tho. The game is even better with it...

This .ini file has only parameters for the in-game camera. Your antivirus might also flag "FL 2024 start" file cuz it's batch script that executes programs on its own (Sider & Football Life). To the best of my knowledge, those are all safe to use. Antiviruses tend to flag a lot of modding files in PC gaming as false threats.

you dont need to own the game for football life, i tried to use virtuared with pes 2021 with bypass but master league crashed everytime. I remember it working in 2021-22 with bypass and virtuared, I have like 1000 hours on the game but sadly VRED doesn't work with bypass now it seems
