Thanks a lot for this video! Fun fact: Something like 20 years ago, I was deep in the NHL game modding scene. And actually even PES, back in 3-4-5, maybe 6. Astonishingly, many didn't realize they needed the base game to run the mods. Fast-forwarding to today, my biggest hurdle before seeing your video was finding the base game and then realizing I didn't even need it! Oh, how the times have changed. :) Please keep making PES-related videos!

Tbf you only don't need base PES21 because SP:Football Life is already the base game, but with pre-integrated mods because the mod creator changed how some mechanics work from the base, the rest are add-ons that update each season, facepacks, stadiums, etc. You'll see from the size of the base download that it's about the size of normal PES21 too. But yeah he simplified the process and you don't even need a slider loader for SPFL.

I've started everything as suggested by you. The jdownloader downloads and the megapatch download are in progress. Am trying a last ditch attempt to get a good modded football game to run on my lovely 8 year old GTX 960M laptop, a legendary Lenovo Y700 :) Fingers crossed that everything works well. Temps will go bit higher while using his preset. So I would recommend using basic graphics

Amazing. I downloaded everything you mentioned, will install later. Even downloaded the video, put it all in 1 folder, copied to my backup HDD so i will always have it available when needed. Only downside is the facepack is for FL25 only. So i'll use that one when i move to FL25.

Is the megapatch appropriate for the steam version as well? I have modded PES5, 6 and 2013 for years. I was totally surprised eFootball 2021 had such a strong modding community. I’m pretty sure you could mod it on console, i modded pes 2021 before on ps4 with the “Import/Export” feature.

Hi, do you know how to change the font for player name cursor above the players head? When I downloaded the megapatch, they changed the player name cursor font and it looks skinnier and harder to read. I just want it back to the old style, I don't know the file to delete

Some patches included in Megapatch could work with FL25 while others won't, so it's safest to wait for proper Megapatch or mod the game to your liking by yourself.

Been playing a lot these days, even though the gameplay feels nice, there's a lot little inconsistencies that I wish weren't there, like the way some fouls are basically gifted, or the way some players just ignore the ball when im not controlling them, or my goalkeeper not getting involved when the ball flies right in front of them... Hopefully these will be adressed in the megapatch for FL25

I play PES2021 with several mods on my ROG Ally (with integrated graphics) but haven't tried SP Football Life yet. Fox Engine is amazing and allows great visuals on such devices.

@lulabelle82 the problem is the sider, if it doesn't start with game then nothing on the sider will work including faces... so start the game with "football life start.exe" or open sider before starting the game (or check .exe could be removed by windows defender)

It says that it is for a different game version and I’m not sure what to do. Do you have 2 graphics cards maybe? If so make sure the game uses the correct one. Else, try different exe files maybe.

Hey great vid, two questions: What difficulty do u recommend to really squeeze mega patch? And second, how do I activate the broadcast camera? It doesn't seem to replace the default values for the broadcast one in game, I installed it correctly

The difficulty I like is top player, but difficulty I think is in general a very personal preference. Regarding broadcast camera. If you installed it correctly on FL24 with Megapatch then it should work fine. Just make sure you have Broadcast camera selected in camera settings. And also you can check if sider (press space and scroll till you get to Broadcastcam.lua window) mode is set to "common" and not "stadium".

And another question, I felt in love with a MOD for a Stadium that I found on the web (about Diego Armando Maradona Stadium). I have two problems. First is the squad file or whatever (edit000) being a bit wrong (maybe). The starting 11 goes by positions so GKs are CB's and all attackers are on the bench. Second one is that master league starts in the season 22/23. I'm using FL24 with megapatch too. Edit: Got the info I needed :D

You're welcome! Based on my experience, antivirus programs flag a lot of stuff falsely when it comes to modding. But of course, download the files for the face pack that you are comfortable using on your computer. You can check the one on the smoke patch website!
