I haven't seen something on phone that lets you do the super speed like this. Most players will have an increase speed in the "..." menu. However, most of the time this only gives you 2x as a max. If you find something better let me know and if I come across something I'll post it back here.

I bought a new computer and downloaded Video Speed Controller and none of the changes I made to the settings are working. When I hit J or A it advances to 16x. Which I don't want. I'm trying to set a key, any one I don't care, so I can advance and skip ahead 30 seconds with the press of a key. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong but the changes are not taking effect. I have Video Speed Controller on my computer in the office and that one runs on Windows 7 and I have no problems with making changes to the Video Speed Controller on the old computer. Don't know what my problem is, this computer is brand new out of the box and only set up hours ago. Nothing else is causing problems yet, just setting new commands on Speed Controller.

You can drag the controls by clicking and dragging on the left side. You can also use the 'v' shortcut key to show/hide the speed controller UI. You can also go into the Options for the extension and change the opacity to a value between 0 and 1 (like 0.3), which allows you to make it more or less visible when not being hovered.

It’s an extension for your web browser (chrome, etc). If you open or drag one of those video files from your downloads folder into your web browser it would likely work. This extension works on any video being played in your web browser, not just KZbin. Another option for video files that you have downloaded would be to get the free VLC media player and use that to change the playback speed, although I’m not sure how fast it allows.

I think it remembers the location if you drag it around. You can turn it on and off entirely with the v key. You can also adjust the opacity of the controls in the settings so it's more see-through.

Right click that content and see if it mentions flash, if so it's possible you have settings that allow flash to be turned on. You can disable flash and it may fall back to using HTML 5 which is what is required for this extension to work. You might also check the list of exclusions in the Options for this extensions or the settings in Chrome for which sites to allow it to run on. It's possible it could be a permission issue where the extension is not running which is why you don't see the controls.

A couple of options I could maybe see here to help you out. First try pressing V and see if it comes back. V is the key to show and hide the controls so you may have accidentally hidden them for some reason. If that doesn't work you might try to disable and re-enable the extension. You can do that by going to chrome://extensions/ in your address bar to view the extensions management screen (You can also click on the three dot icon in the top right of the screen, go to "More Tools" then "Extensions" in the flyout menu). Once there you can toggle the on/off slider in the bottom right of the box for this extension on and off. If this doesn't work two more things you could try would be to view the options page for the extension (I show how to get there in this video) and make sure the opacity value toward the bottom is turned up enough that you can see it. Another thing to check is your permissions for which pages the extension can access. If you go to the extensions management page like I mentioned above and click on the "details" button for this extension there are some options to make sure the extension has access. If these permissions aren't set up correctly they could be blocking it from loading on the pages you are trying to use it on. It's possible that you have have inadvertently clicked a popup to set the wrong permission without thinking much about it, it's easy to do by mistake. Hope this helps! If you try all this and it still doesn't work let me know and I'll see if I can recommend anything else to try. Thanks for watching!

I'm not familiar with Bongo, so I can't answer for sure. This works on most HTML 5 video players. However, some video players it doesnt' work with (although I've not seen a lot of cases where it doesn't work). Sometimes if the controls don't show up on the video the keyboard shortcuts may still work. After you click on the video to play it try some of the keyboard shortcuts to see if that works.

Glad it worked! I think usually when installing a chrome extension like this you will need refresh the page and/or restart your browser (pro tip, you can restart chrome by typing chrome://restart into the location bar).
