So happy to see you do a slalom skate episode. I slalom on quads and my daughter slaloms on inlines, we love it! We are in the UK and it's pretty wet here now so we tend to skate indoors in rinks and sports halls.

I do freestyle slalom on quads! It's definitely fun! The standard spacing is 120 cm, 80 cm and 50 cm btw. (On quads start with 120, or even 160, for most tricks - everything except Crazy and X. Those are easiest in a 50s line.) Kompakombo have a good overview of which tricks to try on what level - although it's different on quads, some beginners tricks are much harder and some advanced tricks are much easier - and good tutorials here on YT too.

There's a group of inline and quad skaters here in San Diego who meet up for slalom at Liberty Station. During the year, the space is just a wide open area with smooth concrete & no cracks and it's free to use, but then in late fall, they set up the ice rink in it's place! No worries for San Diegans though...it rarely rains or snows here lol.

I do salom skating in quads x it's a bit harder but I can do it in inline too. It's all about using your legs in quads and inlines is more the ankle

Yes they are! I got them in small and they fit well. I've fallen a few times hard on the knee pads and wrist guards without injury. They're build pretty solid for the price. Get them!

I have RSI skates, they're amazing. I don't know if they sell to other countries, since it's a Dutch brand But If you could get them I would highly recommend them.
