I know wire wrapping, and wanting to do wire weaving. But I wasn't too confident trying, because in another videos seems difficult or hard to follow. Your video makes me give it a try. I will soon star making this ring. Thank you for your tutorials. You have a new subscriber.

Your tutorials are really stellar. Leave it to me to wait until I’m dying to learn to weave/coil/heady wrap. But better late than never! Ha. I checked out your website and your stuff is amazing and you’re about as cute as can be. I wish you the very best in your creative endeavors (and all of them really). Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m enjoying the learning process and you help immensely.

Amazing tutorials! Thanks for another easy one that I can play with and modify! Today I’m trying this base idea but with a larger tear drop amethyst facet.

This is an excellent design with many inspired opportunities. While watching, I'm thinking how slightly larger base wires, 18ga. perhaps, to accommodate men's sizes could be used with this design. I may have to try it to see for myself. Thanks for this tutorial and demonstrating the skills to produce a beautiful ring.

If you use a third wire and make a cradle with the extra wire you won't have the problem of feeling the culet on your finger. Gives you more variety of weave choice too.

Absolutely beautiful. May I ask what type of wire are you using??
@ellieshandcrafted2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The wire is raw copper. Hope that helps!

I love this tutorial 😊 Can you recommend a place/company where I can purchase these stones? I’m having trouble finding nice ones.

Glad to hear it! For the faceted stones like the one in this video, I get them from GarnetShop on Etsy. It ships from the east coast and I haven't been disappointed with the quality yet! Hope that helps!

Hey! Thank you for making this tutorial. So my question is, are you using dead-hard wire, or soft? Thanks!!!!
@ellieshandcrafted2 жыл бұрын
For most of my projects I use dead soft wire. You may need to harden the ring band with rubber mallet to add so strength, but I find dead soft easiest to work with. 👍 Hope that helps!

I certainly can! I've been wanting to do some videos on weaving specifically and perhaps some blog articles as well. :) I'll definitely be working on that!

Are you using flat wire?
@ellieshandcrafted Жыл бұрын
I just used round wire, but you could use square and half round as well. 😊 Hope that helps!
