That’s a pretty piece of Ocean Jasper! I do not consider that a “thin” stone, though.

My Dad passed away and left me some polished rocks that I would like to put in weaved setting. So my family and I can enjoy these stones.

You should be getting an email to confirm your email address. Once the address is confirmed, then you’ll get the email with a link to download it. If you don’t see either email, I’d check your email “promotional” folder or spam folder. If you still don’t see it, please let me know! ❤️

Been wire wrapping for 4+ years. Tried weaving, I've got to say your instructions are superb and concise. Easy to understand. Have made beautiful artistic cabachon wraps without wasting tons of wire. Thank you!

could we use normal pilers (i have the small ones) to bend them, and to also twist them into a circle?
@ellieshandcraftedКүн бұрын
The size of the pliers shouldn't matter as long as it's comfortable in your hand. :)

I started wire weaving a few weeks ago. Lemme tell ya, I’m a perfectionist to a fault and it’s not relaxing when you mis-weaved a section and don’t realize it until you’re almost done 😂😅 I love it though. It’s a lot more relaxing than pretty much anything else that I’ve done with my life. I use your videos a lot to get weaving patterns down, but I never copy everything you do in your videos. I really enjoy straying off course and figuring out my own thing. I’ve always been someone that enjoyed making things with my hands, but all the things I’ve enjoyed doing until trying this, has needed so much space which I don’t have the luxury of having at this time. My mom use to make Byzantine bracelets and basic wire wrapped jewelry and so I figured I’d give it a shot and I’m absolutely loving it when I have the time to do it.

They’re needle nose pliers not chain nose

@TheMightiestMouse5 күн бұрын
Needle nose pliers are stretched and pointed at the tip, while chain nose pliers have flat jaws that taper to a point. Chain nose pliers are more versatile than needle nose pliers, and are better for gripping and bending wire. Although they look very similar there are minor differences.

I’ve enjoyed watching your videos. I teach beginning wire weaving at the local Gem and Mineral club, and you’ve given me a few ideas, tips and tricks I didn’t think to include in my class. After doing this for over ten years, I tend to forget what I didn’t know when I was a beginner! Keep up the good work!!

Thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial! I just finished the front weave and will attempt the bail tomorrow. Question? How do you keep the weaving wire from kinking? I tried working from the spool but it kept kinking. I finally gave up and cut off a piece but there's so much wrapping on the bail I'm afraid I'll run out. Thank you again!!
@ellieshandcrafted7 күн бұрын
I like to use these wire bobbins when I’m weaving. They help me control the wire and the amount I’m using as I’m working. amzn.to/40IQzcL Hope that helps! ☺️
@pmvk275 күн бұрын
Thank you! How much wire do you put on the bobbin?
@ellieshandcrafted4 күн бұрын
@@pmvk27 As much as I can.. lol. I'm honestly not sure how much I put on there, I just add as much as I can where the bobbin still closes. :)

How do you keep the thin wire from kicking on the spool? Thanks
@ellieshandcrafted7 күн бұрын
I have a ribbon rack that holds my spools, so that helps a lot. Otherwise, I recommend using these bobbins. ☺️ amzn.to/40IQzcL
