i've just watched your beginer series with great interest. this is WAY different than how the craftswomen, who lives up the hill from my dad, and how she does it. she does it using lead beading. the same as was used in churches here in england. none the less. i found your series very interesting and made me want to try it.

So you’re just soldering at the joints for the frame?

So can you keep going over the solder lines without having issues?

For the most part, yes. The black backing to your foil might ooze out, which you can clean off. Or if you play too long in one area, the glass might crack. But you can go back, add more flux and solder. You can also solder over patina.
