And this is the Thai listening practice podcast with Kru Gift for beginners. //Ah, ah, ahem~// Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? KruGift isn't feeling too well today. Did you hear the little cough? //Ahem// I have a “sore throat”. I have a sore throat today because I’ve been using my voice a lot and not getting enough rest. So, today I have some "throat lozenges”, “throat lozenges”. These throat lozenges can be held in your mouth, and they help relieve a sore throat. Besides having a sore throat, I also feel "headache." Yesterday, I had a really terrible headache, so I had to take some "painkillers" to relieve it. Next, I have some water- "warm water," not hot, not cold, just warm. I use it for "sipping" to soothe my throat while teaching. Whenever I’m not feeling well, I try to get a lot of rest. Yesterday, I didn’t teach or work at all because I was feeling so unwell. But I didn’t go to the doctor-I just rested a lot, "rested a lot," sucked on lozenges, and took painkillers. Today, I’m feeling much better, so I can teach, and my voice is starting to come back. But I still feel a little sore in my throat, and my voice is still hoarse. Can you hear it? Hoarse voice //heh heh//, the sound isn’t clear. We call it a "hoarse voice." Besides the hoarse voice, I also have a slight //cough cough//, but it’s much less than yesterday. Yesterday, I coughed a lot-so much that it made my throat really sore. But today, I’m feeling much better, so I can record the podcast for you all. A student told me to sip honey. This is honey mixed with lime to soothe my throat and ease the sore throat. So, today I’m sipping honey-lime to help my throat. How about you all? When you feel sick, how do you take care of yourself? Do you go to the doctor, or do you stay at home and take care of yourself? I don’t really go to the doctor much. I like to take care of myself at home and get lots of rest. The weather is changing a lot these days, so please take care of your health. Don’t get sick like KruGift! And if you are sick, I hope you recover soon. Let’s meet again in the next episode. For today, I’ll say goodbye. Bye-bye 🙏👋
