@@markl2913 They are trying to deceive us I do tig welding. I used to think it mattered but it really doesn’t. It’s just a nice gimmick. I’d take a drill and a belt sander any day. Twice as fast and as smooth as this so called grinder these guys are selling. You can buy better ones than this. Professional ones with guided holes and real diamond grits for precision grinds(used in robot welding machines for pharmaceutical grade welds) instead of be these silly grooved baby grinders Aaaand they are only showing high frequency arcs. It’s a different ball game when you actually turn on the amps. Remember, these are the guys with the caterpillar welding tutorials 15 years ago..

So what this product is, is a Dremel with a flat grinding wheel and a guide? Why wouldn't I just buy a Dremel? It's literally the same thing minus the guide and it will serve many more functions. Plus you can get a Dremel 4000 2/30 for like 85 bucks instead of this for $130 before shipping and taxes. If you don't have the dexterity to put a point on an electrode with a Dremel then you should probably pick a different career.

Bought one of those little 3" bench grinders. It has like a Scotch Bright wheel. I tacked a couple pieces of rod to the little table as a guide. Set the table angle and use the rod to keep the tungsten straight and you can easily spin it. Works great, cheap, very portable and no score marks. I have 3 sections for different angles. Don't have to spend a lot of money especially if you're just a hobbyest.
