Hi Tech. Do you have an email or something I can send a question to? I tried to ask a question three times the other day in the live video. Apparently KZbin didn’t like my question because it didn’t show it to you all three times. I just now asked it again on this post, and it looks like KZbin is hiding it again. I don’t know why. I’m not banned from KZbin or anything. I don’t understand. Is there somewhere else I can write this question to you?

Biggest piece of advice I've learned in my very short eBay reselling career (only 2.5 weeks in): You really need to pay attention to Sell-Through-Rate and if you can even make a profit off of what you are trying to sell. You might think an item can sell well, but if the sell through rate is terrible and/or the item won't generate much profit, is it really worth the hassle of buying that item?
@technsports3 күн бұрын
Definitely
@MrRosso10003 күн бұрын
they have just introduced new regulations on ebay for private sellers in the uk, not heard if it is coming to US. Basically ebay will add 'buyer protection' adding 75p on any sale regardless of price of item and adding 4% of the price of item on top of total sale (that ebay keeps.) Basically transfering the original seller fees (that were recently removed) to the buyer which is added onto every item price. Also more dramatic, for private sellers, ebay will hold money untill proof of item has been received with posting abroad could be 3 weeks before payment is released, all in the disguise of protecting the buyer!! It's ebay's way of holding onto money longer before releasing it which will make a ton of interest which is no doubt the real reason for these new changes that don't benefit sellers or buyers..

I’ve been doing this part time for a bit. Most of my items are smalls and not super high value. The part that’s been hurting is the fees on these items take up a good chunk of the profit. For example I sell something for 5 bucks plus shipping, the item cost me about 1.00. After the fees my total left over is around 2 bucks.
@technsports9 сағат бұрын
Source items that have more profit margin that doesn't get absorbed by fees.

This is the type of thrifting I like to bear about. Most thrift youtubers sell junk, niknacks I'd never touch, back 15 years ago I was selling a lot of military, wool blankets, rain coats, coats, mens clothing, silk shirts, air rifles and cook ware. I wish I stayed in thrifting but I had another business I was running and now I'm headed back to thrift

California just passed a law SB 707 that will require textile and apparel companies to accept their unwanted items for the purpose of recycling or preparing for reusing. Goodwill is already starting program recycling and selling the reuse items. Unfortunately i dont have the means to take advantage of the opportunities this presents but maybe someone here can. Is it possible to contract with the affected companies and they pay you to take away the items that you can turn around and sell?
