I did a half trail at Zion in early April. I can relate to how you're feeling. I've never done a trail half before. It was SO challenging. But beautiful. And I conquered it! Took a long time, but I also stopped for bathroom break, photo opps and I walked a lot too. YOU GOT THIS!!

Is there any chance you could do a video with Dave about how you keep your kids active and your fit lifestyle? I struggle with this because of our age gaps (our boys are 8, 4 and 1) and it's tough to find things we can all do. I also have fairly uncoordinated kids (but maybe that is a positive feedback loop with not pushing them). I also struggle with fear of them getting hurt because they are clumsy. Do you have tips for setting a better example and pushing through the fear of your kids getting badly hurt? I look up to you guys a lot. Your kids seem really healthy and happy and I want that for my kids too.

Congratulations on finishing your run! My biggest fairly recent accomplishment concerning my legs has been moving from needing a wheelchair full-time to only needing it sometimes when we go out. I haven't been able to run like that since 1971, when I was 12 years old. BTW: have you ever heard of the Barclay Marathon?

I have recently picked up running again, I have been doing crossfit more or less exclusively the last 4 years. Trying to get my mile times lower now, but I did my first 5k it quite some time about a week ago! I've started using playlists based based on the beats per minute to keep my pace, and it's working so well to help me go faster.

Please tell me more about your full suspension bike! I have a hard tail, but my husband has the full suspension. I come from a road/tri background, so mtb is more of a hobby (I am a big chicken descending), but it’s super fun! Love all of the race/training footage!
@FrugalFitMom2 жыл бұрын
I have the Scott Genius which has a suspension lock out on the handle bars for climbing and you can quickly switch to full suspension for the descent. It just ROLLS over obstacles and it's so smooth. My hardtail was very jarring to ride any bumps.

Oh my gosh:.. I wish I could run 10 miles haha I definitely would be much thinner haha but my back issues do not allow me to run… the effects of hitting the ground as it does when running makes me not able to walk for day… but I guess I should try to walk 10 miles since I can walk… but dang that would take 3 hours haha
