A song from Scandal called 'Goodbye To You' has a beginning bass sequence with the following chords (Am, D, F#, E). I need to make that into a sequence or a arpeggio where I can either hold the chord (preferred) or at least one key. Any idea how to do this?

Moin. Erstmal super erklärt ✌️. Hast du schon mal mit dem Roland fa06 gearbeitet? Kann mich zwischen modx6 und Fa6 nicht so richtig entscheiden. Finde es etwas zu umständlich die ganzen settings. Schon mal gut das viel vorhanden ist aber das aufnehmen ist visuell gesehen beim f06 schöner. Aber der modx find ich im gesamten irgendwie attraktiver.

Hi, nein habe ich noch nicht. Ich glaube aber, dass er im Vergleich zum Modx etwas weniger kann. Der Modx ist quasi ein Montage mit weniger Controllern und "nur" 64 Stimmen im FM Bereich. Auch die Effektsektion hat zwei Effekte weniger. Das machts aber nicht. Das mit dem Aufnehmen kann ich leider nicht beurteilen :) Ich nutze den Pattern Sequenzer nur um Apps zu erstellen.

hallo herr hillmann nochmals danke für ihre ganze arbeit. die videos sind klasse erklärt. nachdem ich dank ihnen mein modx monster besser kenne hätte ich zwei fragen bezüglich aufnahmen, wenn das gestattet wäre ? 😉 habe ich es richtig verstanden das ich auf dem modx einen song aufnehmen kann ? wenn ja kann ich das stück exportieren / auf den pc übertragen ohne ein audio interface ? lieber gruss aus der 🇨🇭👍

Was du auf jeden Fall machen kannst, du kannst in einer DAW wie Cubase aufnehmen über USB. Direkt speichern auf den Stick geht glaube ich nicht. Checke ich nochmal.

@@thkeyboardsounds hallo herr hillmann also nur nochmals als rückfrage wegen begriffsstutzigkeit 😉 ich verbinde meine modxrakete mit einem notebook, starte cubase ai z. b. und kann das gespielte via usb als midisignal da rein zaubern ? und von da bearbeiten und als audiodatei speichern ? entschuldigen sie die nachfrage ist neuland für mich. lieber gruss aus der 🇨🇭👍

Hi! Danke für das hervorragende Tutorial! Eine Frage: lässt sich der MODX/Montage damit auch quasi als Live-Looper einsetzen? Sprich man kann overdubben, neu aufnehmen oder muten während ständig in Schleife weiter gespielt wird? Im Video hast du ja immer auf Stop gedrückt...

@@thkeyboardsounds Total lieb von dir, danke! Btw., gibt es beim MODX bzw. Montage eigentlich so eine Piano-Roll wie beim Fantom? Lassen sich dort überhaupt Noten einer Sequenz editieren? Beim Kronos geht es ja auch, nur recht umständlich, wie ich finde. Alle Noten sind als Liste dargestellt, in der man suchen darf ;)

Hi Andreas, ich habe das vorhin mal getestet. Wenn du im Record bist, kannst du die einzelnen "Spuren" wechseln und auch von Hand muten. Overdubben geht dann auch direkt.

Hallo Thorsten, Ich habe mir einen Yamaha Montage 7 gegönnt und bin auch auf deinen Kanal gelandet. Super erklärt, tolle Sache. Ich hab da auch gleich eine Frage... Ist es möglich ein Arp. in einer DAW z.b. Cubase zu erstellen und dann mittels Yamaha Connect in den Montage zu übernehmen. Vielen Dank. Gruß Harry

Hi Harry, leider ist es scheinbar nicht möglich, Midi Files über Connect in den Modx zu bekommen. Ich bin kein Connect Experte, habe mich aber etwas schlau gelesen... Das Midi File muss leider über den USB -Stick rein. Gruß Thorsten

Schöner wäre es natürlich gewesen wenn es im Montage oder MODX einen Arp. Creator geben würde. Den grade in Synthesizer spielen arpeggios, meiner Meinung nach, eine große Rolle

....me again...pls help, i have made a custom user arpeggio to use it with a drum kit...but theres no option to import it to the performance..i tried melas performer but it wont read user arpeggios, they are not shown in a performer app....regards

Hi, I don't understand the problem. You make the user arp in the song section. From there you export it. You did this? And than it's in the list automatically. You can check this in the store mode. There are folders for Arp, Songs, etc.... Or write me an email to [e-mail] . That's easier than here.

@@gani96530 Hat mir keine Ruhe gelassen und hatte noch etwas Zeit: Ich hab direkt mit nem Saw Sound und Portamento ein pattern eingespielt. Das spielt er mit allem so ab, wie ich es eingespielt habe und die Übergänge sind gut zu hören, hab die Time sehr hoch gesetzt und langsam gespielt. Also im Grundsatz geht das. Aber bei alten Arps das ändern, das ging nicht. Wenn du meinst ein Sound mit Portamento und einen anderen nicht, das geht, klar!
