I'm 67 and using my iphone12pro to record videos. My skin used to look flawless like it had a filter, but now I look my age. EEK! I checked the filter in photos and it's on. I have good lighting. Do you know of any software or apps that can help me look younger? I'm not sure why my iPhone decided to take me back to Uglyland when I was looking so good! I appreciate any help you may have.

This might be just the video I was looking for. I stopped producing youtube videos because the sound in my videos had too much echo and was not amplified enough (my house has very large rooms), and the colors were not matching reality.

Over the past few years, I have decided to invest on my video production. - Sony ZV-1 ✅ - Røde Mic ✅ - Tripod ✅ - FCP Software ✅ - Lighting ❌ - Wireless Mic ❌ I really need to get some good lighting for my talking heads video and possibly invest in some new wireless mics for outdoor talking shots - possibly during the summer months and for next year. I have to disagree on the light guys, I did order a gvm after warching one of your video (which are great and very helpful) and It just doesn’t work well. It makes a ton of noise, the stand isn’t of a good quality and worst… it falls when placed in a certain angle. I’ve lost 300€ on that one. The rest of the advices are great and I relly appreciate what you guys at THINK Media do for us 👌

I would highly suggest the zoom f2 because you don't have to worry about clipping and you get it for 150 now. Just press record and it's good to go. Never have to worry about setting audio levels again

I Prefer wireless everything in most every video I make. IF you goto the Manufacturers website they often sell refurbished cameras for Much lower cost and yet the same warranty. Anyhow good video!

Hi. I use the zv1 to film & the Samson mic for audio for my podcast. I capture both on my computer. The quality looks 100% but then once I edit using iMovie & upload to KZbin it got blurry! Hi Omar! I recently purchased a Deity Pocket Wireless in black. I am having some connectivity issues when recording the audio. I have the Sony A6400 and ZVE-10 cameras. I have followed the calibration tutorial from Deity’s KZbin channel as well. The audio sounds like a bad frequency radio sound when recorded on the camera. However when recording on the laptop, the audio comes out perfectly. Can you please help me figure out what I’m doing wrong in the camera setup?

I really enjoy your videos. I always learn a lot. However, please create a video that guides us through the steps to uploading our video to KZbin. I created a 5-minute video that took hours to upload to KZbin because my phone created a MOV instead of an mp4. I didn’t know I needed to download an mp4 converter to upload the MOV to compress it. I hope you’ll consider creating a video that teaches us how to upload videos after we use your steps to develop them.

If you can, export the video in a format called H264 (MP4) if you have that option. It should be the most compressed file format and the quickest to export and upload to youtube, without having to use a separate plugin that compresses the video.

Please tell people how difficult it is to upload your videos to social media platforms due to the size. For example, I followed the steps you recommended to record a video using my iPhone 12. Unfortunately, when I attempted to upload the video, the MOV format was huge! Then, I tried to use an App video converter, the process is very long. In a nutshell, I would like to know how I can record videos using mp4 format so the file is not so large.

💕one of the issues may be that it’s wasn’t converted to a format that is compatible…a simplistic editing app for an iPhone is splice…it’s basic BUT it will format the video as well as the size of the video (to fit into the various frames) for all the major platforms)💕

Can you please do a video on lighting setup for people with glasses? I see that there’s no glare on your glasses in this video, but if I want to be properly lit indoors, you can see the reflection of the light box in my glasses. I either have to fix the lighting in post or just accept that there’s that image of the light in my glasses. Thanks!

Kim, you might search KZbin for "photography glasses reflection". There are many excellent videos on the subject. (I too wear glasses.) Two of the bigger solutions are light placement, and turning down the brightness of your screen.

As great as the video is, it is a little deceiving. You aren’t getting the desk, the background lights used in the video, nor any attachments or lenses, and no tripod for camera that you buy with a kit lens that isn’t the lens used in the video
