Mounted my Mini behind my monitor as well...saves so much desk space! It's a 32" iMac now... LOL! Personally, I love both the angle in the corner and the desk in the background. They are SO contrasting it makes for completely different shots.

I love that you’re sharing studio tips. I just wish my space could facilitate more but I barely have room to walk so whenever I set up I’m stuck in one spot. Thinking of redesigning the space since moving is much more expensive but it will also cost me quite a penny and I’m not monetized. I’ll have to make do with what I have but I’m not pleased with the look. My favourite background for my videos is not at my house 🤦🏻‍♀️lol

As I further my progress in getting my recording studio camera-ready, I'm being mindful of minimizing distracting, unsightly clutter and maximizing usable camera angles (as well as open space) as I get acquainted with my fancy new film gear. Thanks for the tips I will start applying them. Question though in your background you have alot of stuff. And I was advised not to do this and just have a plain white background so I can add in photos and logos, without viewers being distracted by plants and furniture. What's your take on this.
