Excellent video Nigel. As a reborn modeller I’m about to start the Airfix 1/72 Spitfire which like your hurricane has a lot more detail than the advertised Starter set for the 1/72 Spitfire. I’m old enough to have more patience than an enthusiastic youngster but totally agree with your comments that this build could put off aspiring modellers. Keep up the good work

Lacquer, Tamiya LP9, Acrylic, X-22 or Aquagloss. If you want matt, then the Tamiya LP is great.

@NigelsModellingBench Sorry to bother you again do I need to dilute it with x-20A or can it be airbrushed out of the jar thanks again Nige

For LP you need Lacquer thinner and you can also use Lacquer thinner or X-20A with the X-22. Aqua Gloss is straight out the bottle.
