Great tips! You can speak so clearly that a novice cameraman will absorb the tips! Thank you!

I really want to thank you for these videos, I have my first paid event coming in a few days and even though I've been the school's photographer for about a year I just purchased my first personal camera and a professional photographer hooked me up with an event he couldn't fit in his schedule, and doing my first event with a new camera and only school event experience has got me really anxious but your videos have been a huge help and again thank you so much for them.

Love your KZbin handle 😆 you’re welcome! Glad to help:) Congrats on your first paid gig! It’s a great and awful feeling all mixed into one I know that anxiety. I hope it goes well practice with that new camera as much as possible before the event if you have time!

Hi, i would just like to thank you for the kind of work you do here. I have found your channel right before my first graduation shoot, and got to tell you, you helped a lot! You are putting great content out here, which is much appreciated. And perhaps could you do some tutorials on different events? Like, on my grad shoot the hardest thing was to figure out what are the neccesary shots. So for these could you spare some event specific must-do-s?

Hi Beni! You’re welcome! I’m so glad you found these videos helpful :) Thanks for the suggestion🙏🏻 I have to think about how I would approach this topic because I’ve never actually shot a graduation! How did you do on yours? I think with something like that I would focus on the connection between family and friends. Somehow organize group shots for each. My favorite part about capturing these types of events is when people look at them 10 years later and get transported back to that moment through our photos! One of the reasons why i think showing the space/place is so important:)

@@JesseDeyoung Well, i kind of just went Brrr, and took way more shots than i probably needed to, managed to screw up half of them, because my shutter was slow, and stuff moved. Then with some peolpe i missed quite important parts. So, a big learning lesson. Fortunately it was just a practise, a class above me in my school asked me to snap something for the sake of memory. So umm, well, editing the images was aquard for myself... And because im shooting an older Sony (a58) i dont have a dedicated flash to it, and the buil in is a tad bit slow. Way to improve, but thanks to watching a lot of your vids afterwards, my family birthday shoot went much better ^^
