In the video, you mentioned getting people's emails to be able to send them the photo you took. In a situation where you are taking lots of photos, how do you keep track of what photo goes with what email? How do you track that in the moment?

I usually take a photo of the screen and make sure the file number is showing in the screen shot. I also give them my email address just incase. Using instagram is also helpful since you can see other photos of them on their profile.

Need hel-. I went out the other day testing my v6, tried getting my raw files onto iPhone to edit and they were white blanks. How come After 3 dats and messaging people no one seems to know how or even if if it’s possible to send a raw file to phone or iPad

Did you try pulling the RAW files into Lightroom mobile? Sometimes the Apple camera roll can’t show previews of certain formats. That happened to me when I airdropped DNGs to my phone. Hopefully that will help!

I have an X100F, I would like IS and tilt screen, not bothered about 40MP, 24MP is plenty where this for me falls down is the price and mainly the terrible battery life for the price. Im sure they can improve the battery, Im tempted but ill stick with the F for now.

I don't understand the problem people have with the audio jack. Just buy a 4-6 inch length 3.5 to 2.5 angled jack cables... if people just try a bit hard enough, they'll find them. I bought 2 of them, one in my camera bag and one at home for safe keeping considering it's rarity. I bought this kit "CME WIDI Jack MIDI Cable TRS-35" is a nice 2 pack for $10. Just be careful, they're quite short length, which I like. This pairs perfectly with my DJi Mic 2 setup mounted on my X100VI.

That front button to toggle OVF/EVF is best used for flash settings, it's right next door 👍 Film recipes live in C1-C7 on the Q button anyways.

Nice camera - I considered original X100 ~12 years ago, but got a smokin’ deal on a lightly used Sony RX1. Unless film simulations are important to you (I shoot RAW), I recommend finding an RX1 (no longer in production) - it’s head and shoulders better, smaller, but doesn’t look as cool.

Sony’s prosumer menu systems absolutely suck. Completely illogical compared to Fuji, Canon or Nikon. Puts me off Sony gear. Weirdly, I’ve used plenty of Sony pro video cameras, they’re fine. I’m too poor for one of these. I use a Canon Eos M3 with a fixed 22mm (36mm equivalent w the 1.6x crop) I love it.

Thanks! And you’re welcome. I set up one of the custom buttons as my custom recipes and one for the standard film simulations. I covered it in my X100VI settings video for step by step set up:) I highly recommend setting it up this way seeing a live view of your sims is really helpful!

I just had this same issue and it took me forever to figure out. It was because my shooting mode was set to continuous. So when I changed it to single shot it worked. So this is another reason the flash may not work.

Interesting video - I have had several versions of the X100 series over the years. Assume you’re in the US so the supply chain must be different - I got a silver X100VI in March after waiting just 2 weeks since I preordered. Sold it for near retail price after 6 months and then regretted it. Just placed an order for another silver one 3 days ago and it arrived yesterday. Not sure if everyone wants black version or down to where in the world you are, but twice now in the UK I’ve had to wait virtually no time at all - waiting months is crazy madness 🤪

Happens all the time. Agree, cropping is a pain. Another solution instead of sync cord is get a transceiver with off-camera flash on a stand. But yes it's way easier to move around with sync cord. Depends on the type of shoot

It's funny. I've been thinking about one of these as a second camera for wedding Photography. I do have an XT5 which is my second camera to my GFX camera but at weddings as often breaks where you can just wander around with a small camera and use the On camera flash and just get some candid photo. This camera would be really good for that. Stick it in F4 and away you go. I think this would be a good camera for that style of stuff and just obviously for holidays and weekends.

Just bought a R6 Mk ii as an upgrade from my R but I gotta say I’m disappointed in the “improved” features this camera has to offer. 4k crop on the R never bothered me, the R has a better video format in 4k then the R6 mkii and it blows it out of the water in terms of photo. The full frame in 4k in the R6 is nice but out able to shoot it in IPB instead of ALL-I is a real bummer. I’m probably going to sell the R6 and buy a second R and use the rest of the money to invest in another RF lens

how is the r better then r6m2 in terms of photo, all reviews have the new sensor showing better than the r
@MistaMahcos
@MistaMahcos 28 күн бұрын
@ higher mp count is the only thing I can think of, biggest difference for me is the video quality format is better on the R and the fact that the R6mk2 can’t record in ALL-I and only does IPB is a deal breaker for me for a camera that came out 4 years after the R

The X100F is an amazing camera. I still miss mine, which was stolen by a burglar, breaking into our studio. Currently, I’m thinking about getting a new EDC camera but to be honest, I’m drawn more and more towards the Ricoh GR IIIx… it’s just more compact. But the Fuji is sexier. I’m still uncertain, which one to get. But having a fixed focal length is just great for EDC and travel photography. It just takes away the hassle of deciding which lens to use. I’ve just been to Thailand and Singapore and brought a 28, 50 and 135mm lens (Olympus, adapted to my X-Pro 1 & used on the OM2n) and I was switching lenses all the time. It becomes a burden. So I want a fixed lens camera again. For film photography I already got some rangefinders (40mm) and a Konica big mini Point and shoot (35mm). I like both focal lengths, so it’s hard to decide.
