Hello, I've been using nail polish specially for the glossy glittery look if a client requested, though if not, then I prefer to use matte acrylic sealers because I really like the 'matte-satin clay vibe' finish than the 'glossy factory plastic-like finish'. I wonder what do you use for sealing your clays other than the bosny clear spray paint? I saw your souvenir video and it doesn't look too shiny and glossy in the video. I made a pendant charm for my friend but the acrylic sealer still is not enough to 'water-resist' the charm (I think my friend is a lot sweaty naturally) and I told him it's water resistant but not waterproof and I really prefer the matte-satin finish and he also like the matte finish. Sadly after hours of wearing it, he showed it to me and it is literally 'melting' for the lack of better adjective and the clay turns back to being soft and sticky. I'm still confused though because I tried using the clay earrings that I made and sealed with the same sealer and it stays nice and not 'melting' so I do not really know if it's the 'sweat factor' that counts.
@clayandpastel3 жыл бұрын
Hi :) I use hulma gloss for my souvenirs and I think yes because sweat has acid and personally if I make earings I make sure that some the parts of the earings won't touch the neck or our skin beacuse yes it's not waterproof.
