That was exactly what I thought when I made the video. Just wanted someone to show me how it worked.

Many thanks Kenny. You've kick started me. I've had a looper since around the time you made this video and haven't bothered trying to use it. I will now

Hey would I need the ac power cable? Mine seems to work without it and was wondering what the difference is if I didn’t have it?
@kennyjmusic56373 жыл бұрын
You can use either a battery or the power cable. It shouldn't make any difference to sound but would make it easier to use the battery if you were playing on a stage etc

Does the cable go from the output of the looper to the input of the amp?
@kennyjmusic56373 жыл бұрын
Hi Dylan, yeah that's right

Thanks for the question and the reply. I don't know why some of these videos leave out the details.

Alright I have one problem. I can't overdub a distorted track over a clean track. Any solution?
@kennyjmusic56374 жыл бұрын
Hey, are you using effects pedals or built into an amp?

@@kennyjmusic5637 im using a distortion and wah pedal
@kennyjmusic56374 жыл бұрын
If you have the loop pedal first in the chain it won't hold the distortion. You would need to have guitar into distortion and wah before it goes onto the loop.

@@kennyjmusic5637 hi , so I'm guitar to pedal and pedal to amp.....I have 99 various presets. So if I play clean loop and put distortion pedal between looper and amp , will that leave my clean loop untouched and make my overdub distorted due to pedal between looper an and amp ?? Or would I need to be guitar to distortion pedal then to looper then to amp ? Also , when I play clean , works and sound great... dirty on dirty , iron maiden , judas priest , kiss , that type of stuff does not come out so well...one always seems to over power the other...tried messing with the one knob a little bit , made it a little better , but not much.... Is this loop pedal not really intended so much for dirty hard stuff and more for clean....I mean I have never myself seen anyone on youtube playing heavy rock or metal during their demos...all clean play type stuff
@kennyjmusic56373 жыл бұрын
@@jonrudolph1470 hey Jon. So however you put the sound into the loop pedal is how it will be recorded. So if you record effect then loop it will keep the effect recorded, that way on the next track you layer a different effect then you will hear 2 effects. If you loop then play through effect every track is effected by the change in effect. In terms of playing heavy music I haven't played anything heavy like Iron maiden etc but have used a distorted track of chords and then used the loop to help me play lead lines over the top. You can adjust the sound of what you are hearing by using the volume knob but I also think the amp can impact how well it can handle the multiple effects.
