I am about to be new to wade fishing the Texas coast (Corpus Christi) and know very little about it. What type, weight, and amount of line would you recommend?

I’m just getting into wade fishing, and want to wade sl pass. Any tips on where to wade down there?

Any dangers or safety tips during wade fishing
@RXAngler6 жыл бұрын
sloshyjoe safety is #1. Purchase a PFD and some Ray Guards (link in description). Shuffle your feet when moving in the water. Don’t go past waist level water. Watch for currents. Fish with a buddy if you don’t have much experience. Use the PFD if you are wading in unfamiliar territory.

Any chance you have any good fishing spots that don't require getting in the water? Looking to be able to take friends that don't have waders.
@RXAngler6 жыл бұрын
Kook Kim thanks for your comment. I do appreciate it. If you just want to fish without getting wet, then I recommend just going to the 91st pier in Galveston off the sea wall. It’s pretty easy to fish and you can end up catching a wide variety of fish like specs, reds, Spanish mackerel and flounder. Hope this helps!

How tall are You? And would you say the size (foot) and length of the waders were a good fit on you?
