Beginners Hoop Dance Routine - Show You

I have made this video for the people that came to my beginners class - this is to help you remember all the things we covered in the 6 weeks. The only one that doesn't feature in here is the Vortex or lifting the hoop off and on the body, so if you want to you can swap the "Angel" move (where you hold the hoop and bring it up and down) for a vortex and also you can practice lifting the hoop off the body to go into the corkscrew instead of what I did.

Hi it's a 32" polypro although it's got quite a bit of tape on it so it feels a bit heavier. It's was hard spinning around in these massive boots - thanks so much for your kind words!

i love this! im a just beginning to learn hula hoop tricks and videos like this really inspire me to keep practicing. it gets frustrating sometimes when i cant do certain tricks but my goal is to atleast do a simple dance routine. i love your video!!

Thanks for your support guys and I'm glad some of you have found this lil routine useful! I still remember how awkward it was to hoop in those big platform boots! My advice, unless you where heels ALL THE TIME then wear flats! Every time I've tried hooping in heels I have regretted it! 😅

Can’t be spinning around due to motion sickness, but I saw a one trick that was motion sickness friendly that I didn’t know so I’ll be giving that a shot.

Eeh do you know what I had such a bad year last year I never did get my online course together. Looking back through my tutorials today and feeling inspired to make some new ones! What do you most want to learn? Suggestions welcome! Anyone else trying to catch some of the moves I used to find watching in slow mo really helps see whats happening on hoop vids!
